He is such a fascinating guy. We also found what he said about the violin having international origins quite profound. Something you don't think about as we often associate the violin with Europe because the modern day designs were all made here in the 17th and 18th centuries, but without the wood, materials and knowledge from abroad, the instruments would not be possible in such a way...
