Hi every one, now I’d like to share my teaching experience in English writing subject.

I’m teaching writing to my university students in which English as foreign language for them. Writing has been considered as difficult skill by them, which I think due to a lack of practice, vocabulary,and grammar. However, I think the most influencing factor is that because of a little time that they spend for practices in writing. During my teaching on that subject, I have tried several ways to encouraged them to do practices, such as writing in a blog, facebook, students’ board, diary. Well, even they did it during taking a writing course but when the course had been finished they stopped it. It’s really hard to push them to do writing practices voluntarily. Luckily, now I have instructed my students to involve in Steemit Community which I hoped that throughout this community they can love do English writing voluntarily. They can write on which topic they feel interested in and moreover they can post anything that can catch their mind or eye. So guys, I do expect that Steemit is can be a new strategy/tool to improve writing skill of EFL students, Indonesia. Eventually, I expect that I can do a research as well in this area. So, what do you think guys? I’m really looking forward hearing for your comments.
