## Boulevard walks

We all enjoy walking on the boulevard and listening to the waves hitting the shore. We often do it as well because when we go for tapas, we automatically add a (small) walk on the boulevard or sit down at one of the benches to just hear the waves. We think it's very relaxing to do so and if we add a longer walk to it, my back and knee are usually thankful as well. So far we went to the same spots and were not really impressed by the lack of greenery which is a shame because it really adds to the relaxing feeling of walking at the beach boulevard. Add to that a few nice beach restaurants or cafes where you can sit and enjoy some drinks and tapas and you're relaxed within no time.

## Different parking spot

If you have a few rows of restaurants at certain heights on the beach, you usually aim for the same route if you are planning to sit at one of these places, which is also what happened with us. Since we have the car, we rarely pick another route as we know between the harbor and another end of the beach, there are several long empty boulevards without any cafes or cute tourist shops to wander around. There's really no point in taking that route, but we never realized that one part had quite a cute entrance at the beach when we went parking somewhere else recently.

## We walked down the stairs

Too bad that it was quite steep, my knee definitely didn't enjoy that part, but my mind was instantly relaxed when I saw all the green around us and landed on the beach when I saw a gym machine which I was looking for to loosen up my currently stuck hips. I've been ill for a few weeks so it's very noticeable that my body is stuck and I feel the need to loosen up as much as I can.

We have a lot of these outside gyms here and I absolutely love using them. Normally we go to the playground for my daughter and then I take a bit of time to loosen up the hips and it works quite well. Now add to that location, as you can see in the image above, seaside gyms, loosening up the hips, or flexing some other muscles while being meters away from the beach, I love it! Or as we say here "Me encanta!".

## Empty beaches

Right now there are just a handful of people bathing in the sea and the beaches are not crowded yet at all, but we already see more tourists appear every week so I bet soon this will change for the worse. I bet when this happens we need to make sure to find hidden spots where the beach is to our liking as well as not too crowded with tourists. I don't mind some though, because it also means we can connect with some people maybe, but too crowded is not what we're looking for.

We know as soon as July arrives everything will be too hot during the day, and therefore we will start visiting the beach from next week and enjoy it while we still like it. It seems moving to an apartment with a pool will not happen before summer, unless we find something very last-minute (never say never) and therefore I decided to adopt a beach-loving lifestyle, at least for the month of June, lol. I bet between July and September I will not be there much because I don't love to be burned like crazy. But who knows, we'll see.

Either way, it was nice to find this spot because it also seemed like an ok beach part to check out as soon as we go for a swim. The sand/stones vary a lot every few hundred meters or so and we don't really fancy all parts, thankfully there are enough spots to check out and we will do so this year. here's to many more boulevard walks on Wednesdays and other days!
