As promised. On my way back from meetings today I attempted at capturing the Legislation building at night whilst the lights were illuminated. A previous post from yesterday I made about the building itself, amply named ~ [**The legislate building in Victoria, BC**](https://steemit.com/architecturalphotography/@thomasjmitchell/the-legislate-building-in-victoria-bc). However, once sun has sunk into the Pacific Ocean for the day the building is lit up with over 3,300 lights. As you can see it is quite impressive.

**"Does the Queen live there?"** (I joke you not) *OR*
**"How do you know when she is there?"**
Their running gag reply is *"When the lights are on, it means she is there."*
Slightly mean but a little funny at the same time... You gotta be able to laugh at yourself every once in a while
