It's a "web-only Friday" at RRRND -- check out the day's news stories and commentary links at:

I try to keep "web-onlies" to once a month or so, usually right at the beginning/end. This issue is an exception to that. I wanted to get Friday's edition out very early because I have plans for the day, and noticed at the last minute that some stories slugged "commentary" actually belong in "news." I figure instead of spending half an hour fixing that and formatting the day's email edition, I'll spend 10 minutes just fixing it and writing this note.

But of course if I'm going "web-only," might as well mention a couple of things:
