Now comes the time that families meet to celebrate. Some will have a wonderful time, whereas others might find it difficult getting along with each other. Here are some songs about the latter. 

So let's begin. The Dropkick Murphys describe their music as celtic Punk. To me it sounds a lot like folk music. With this song, it's mostly about the lyrics ayway. Plus, I like the nephews.

Es nähert sich die Zeit, in der viele Familien zusammenkommen und miteinander feiern. Manche werden ein wunderbares Fest haben, andere nicht so sehr. In den Videos unten geht es um letztere Variante. 

Fangen wir also an. Die Dropkick Murphys beschreiben ihre Musik als Celtic Punk; für mich klingt es eher nach Volksmusik. Bei diesem Lied ist das ziemlich egal, denn es geht in erster Linie um den Text. Man beachte übrigens die Neffen im Video, für mich sind sie die eigentlichen Stars.

Continuing with something a little bit more like real punk music, here come the Ramones. In this case, it's more about the video whereas the music just adds to the atmosphere.

Machen wir weiter mit einem musikalischen Werk, das wenigstens ein bisschen wie echter Punk klingt. Die Ramones hatten wohl einen gewissen Hang zur Popmusik. In diesem Fall steht das Video im Vordergrund und die Musik unterstützt nur die allgemeine Stimmung.

The third video features a significantly different musical style. It also features a banjo ukulele, so it can't be fundamentally bad. It's all about the lyrics again. Have fun.

Das dritte Video gehört einem deutlich anderen Musik-Genre an. Immerhin kommt eine Banjo-Ukulele vor, also kann es nicht grundsätzlich schecht sein. Hier geht es wieder hauptsächlich um den Text. Ich wünsche viel Spaß.
