The feeling that at any moment you can take action with unstoppable forcefulness give rise to a tension that few works get. Especially since, while these are apparently desperate to offer you those cardiac arrests that you are looking for so much in them, Alien: Isolation is a title that relies fully on the dynamics it builds; one in which he does not fear that everything is cooked over low heat, and that it is the most likely interaction between the player and that entity that pursues what causes real terror.*

*It might seem that expressing that it is most shocking to be able to take a title with high technical virtues anywhere has lost the sense of repeating it. However, Alien: Isolation is one of those cases that do justice to this premise again; to the one in which Nintendo Switch can show much more potential than it appears if well-optimized ports arrive at it. And even more if we think about their portability, since the step forward between that childhood situation in which we hid under the covers to avoid fears towards one in which we can put them under the blankets with us gives rise to a most comforting experience.*

*However, the version of Alien: Isolation for Nintendo Switch presents some rough edges that would be old known and others more novel because of the portable format offered by the Nintendo hybrid console. Starting with the first, this edition continues to observe that input lag (that temporary delay that exists between pressing a button and seeing an action on the screen) that already appeared in the other versions and, secondly, a series of inconveniences that appear in the portable format that makes everything reflect to a smaller size, which makes some important resources that will be spread across the stage more complicated to spot.*
