People have favorite seasons. Especially people living in Europe, their favorite season is summer because they can go on vacation in the summer. There are also crazy people who love winter because there is a lot of rain. My favorite season is spring. I really enjoy witnessing nature wake up from sleep and come to life. Also, spring is the beginning of production.

As soon as nature wakes up from its sleep, I immediately start hiking. This is one of my biggest hobbies. Hiking in the winter and summer months can cause some problems due to the air temperatures. That's why I mostly do my trips in the spring. I come across interesting moments during my mountain hikes. I will talk about some of them in this post.

Dağ yürüyüşlerinde birbirinden ilginç anlara denk geliyorum. Bu gönderimde de bunların bazılarına değineceğim.*

This is a mountain pear, a wild pear. It ripens towards the end of autumn. Even at its ripest, its fruit has a slightly hard texture. The fruit is smaller than normal. It is a very sweet fruit, like honey. In order to increase the yield of wild pears, grafting is necessary.

*Bu bir dağ armudu, yabani armut. Sonbaharın sonlarına doğru olgunlaşıyor. En olgunlaştığı dönemde bile meyvesinin hafiften sert yapısı var. Meyve normalin altında bir boyuta sahip. Oldukça tatlı bir meyve, bir bal kadar. Yabani armutlarda verim artırmak için aşı yapmak gerekiyor.*

One of the most common mushrooms where I live is the grass mushroom. I have been consuming mushrooms that grow in nature for a few years, they are quite delicious. Poisonous mushrooms can be deadly. The snow-white ''Çakşır'' and the grass mushroom do not pose any health risks.

*Yaşadığım yerde en çok yetişen mantar türlerinden biri, çimen mantarı. Bir kaç yıldır doğada yetişen mantarları tüketiyorum, oldukça lezzetli. Zehirli mantarlar öldürücü olabiliyor. Rengi bembeyaz olan ''Çakşır'' ve çimen mantarının sağlık açısından herhangi bir zararı yok.*

A small pond. Winter and spring rainfall accumulates and turns into a pond. It dries up completely in the summer. There are yellow flowering plants around such small ponds. It creates a poisonous effect when eaten too much by animals.

*Küçük bir gölet. Kış ve ilkbahar yağışı birikip gölete dönüşmüş. Yaz mevsiminde tamamen kuruyor. Bu tür küçük göletlerin etrafında sarı çiçekli bitkiler oluyor. Hayvanlar tarafından çok fazla yenildiği zaman zehirli bir etki yaratıyor.*

In winter, partridges like to be in rocky, stony areas. A structure created by partridge hunters by piling stones on top of each other. Hunters hide inside this structure to hide from partridges. Hunters keep partridges they have trained with them to hunt partridges. When the hunter's partridge calls, other partridges also head to this area. A partridge that approaches the hunter either falls into a trap or is killed by the hunter with a gun.

*Kış aylarında keklikler kayalık, taşlık alanlarda bulunmayı sever. Keklik avcıları tarafından taşların üst üste konması sonucu oluşturulmuş bir yapı. Avcılar kekliklerden gizlenmek için bu yapının içinde saklanır. Avcılar keklikleri avlamak için yanlarında eğittikleri keklikleri bulundurur. Avcının kekliği ötünce diğer keklikler de bu alana yönelir. Avcıya yaklaşan keklik ya tuzağa düşer ya da avcı tarafından silahla öldürülür.*

Ant nest. The ants are calm. When a few drops of rain fell, the ants immediately entered their nest.

*Karınca yuvası. Karıncalar durgun. Bir kaç damla yağmur yağınca karıncalar hemen yuvalarına girdi.*

A place dug by treasure hunters. Although it looks a bit small in the photo, it is clear that they spent hours of energy digging here. The ambition of the treasure hunters is quite high.

*Define avcıları tarafından kazılmış bir yer. Fotoğrafta biraz küçük gibi görülse de burayı kazmak için saatlerce enerji harcadıkları kesin. Define avcılarındaki hırs oldukça fazla.*
