It has been a while since my last post on Rising Star, so I figured it is about bloody time, right?

Where I am at in game is level 117, and working my way through Zone 3, County Tour. It will be a long time before I hit the Zone 4, “The Mysterious Shadow Land”, as the map for it is still blacked out.

A bit of news from the game front – the number of players in Rising Star continues to climb at a big pace, which is good for a lot of reasons. Although the downside is that the Rising Star NFTs are hitting their print limit a lot more quickly. The bit about the print limit triggering is a bit of a downside when you are still fairly new to the game and don’t have deep pockets to spend on card packs, but otherwise it is a good thing. More players, more new cards, more fun for everyone!

I have also been keeping track of my Ego from Missions growth, just so I can get a better idea of how many times per day I should run Music Lessons. Generally I run two guitar Lessons (the best bang for my buck skill point wise), but I may be able to cut down on that and run one more 35% mission in its place for a few more Starbits. Sounds like a name for a good Clint Eastwood movie – A Few Starbits More. I know, it’s been done. Currently, the amount of Ego from Missions I am gaining is, on average, 75 Ego per day. As I average more than 75 skill points per Guitar Mission, I can cut my Music Lessons down to three every two days, or average 1.5 Guitar Lessons per day. That will keep me ahead of the Ego growth curve, which will be sufficient when I do a pack buy and blow my Ego out of the water with lots of new Fans.

Speaking of Fans, if you are playing rising Star and haven’t started the Fan club missions, you should do that. According to Jux, the main man behind Rising Star, the cards you receive from Fan Club mission will be used in future content. No idea when that content will appear, probably a few months out, but hey, KEEP THOSE CARDS! There have been players selling these Fan club cars, and are they going to be in for a shock when they find they can’t run new content without forking over some big Starbits to buy their Fan club cards back.

On the quest to success in Fan club, I unlocked the sixth card – FC6 Rosie, who, as you can see, has some pretty Epic stats.

I really dig this game, and am no looking at doing some streaming in the somewhat near future, Probably sometime in May. I have to set up a few things for my twitch channel, and do a bit of stream testing, but it will happen. All I need is 100 followers so I can also run Stream Raiders (thanks Sharman, for introducing me to that game). More on that in a future post. (I'm committed to streaming now!)

And yes, I need to post a new pic, back with the cool Steampunk hat my Father-in-Law made for me, and now featuring Steampunk goggles. Now all I need is a lot of cash to buy a custom Steampunk Guitar.
