Recientemente, tuve la oportunidad de conocer el famoso [**Café Racer Bar**](https://www.instagram.com/caferacerbar_ve/?hl=es), un restaurante temático ambientado especialmente para los amantes de las motos y los motores. Ubicado en San Antonio de Los Altos, en el estado Miranda de Venezuela.
Este local actualmente está muy de moda, pues además de su atractiva temática, gran cocina y excelente atención, allí realizan numerosos eventos musicales que gozan de gran popularidad entre el público. Aunque, cabe destacar que el día que los visité, no había ninguna programación especial y quizás por eso había muy poca clientela en el lugar.

Al llegar al sitio, me llevé una gran sorpresa, pues no tenía ni la más mínima idea del restaurante al cual iba ese día, pués fue una invitación de mi hijo, a comer unas excelentes alitas de pollo en un restaurant donde según él, las preparaban de maravilla, a tal punto que dijo que eran las mejores alitas de pollo que había comido en su vida. Nunca nos dijo a cuál restaurant nos dirigiamos.
¡Así qué!, cuando llegué al sitio, lo único que había en mi mente, eran las famosas alitas de pollo y cuál sería mi impresión, cuando me topé con aquel lugar que me resultó tan fascinante, a pesar de que no soy amante de las motos, esto aunado al poco conocimiento que tengo acerca de ellas. Además, que les confieso que solo las quiero ver de lejitos, claro está, sin dejar de reconocer que montar o pasear moto es una actividad muy sabrosa, razón por la cual, entiendo perfectamente a aquellos muchachos. que a mediados del siglo XX, dieron vida a esta tradición cultural del [**Café Racer**](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cafe_Racer).
El local está decorado con auténticas motos y una gran cantidad de objetos y accesorios característicos del mundo del motociclismo, todo estratégicamente ubicado, de tal manera que da la sensación de que estás en una especie de museo restaurante.
Demás está decirles que el restaurante me encantó, que disfruté mucho al observar cada uno de los detalles que descubría a medida que lo recorría. Lo primero que me llamó la atención, fue un antiguo dispensador de gasolina que tienen ubicado cerca de la entrada del local, ya lo había visto en fotos, pero no sabía que pertenecía a ese restaurante.

Al entrar al recinto principal, lo primero que vi fue la colorida e ingeniosa barra, en forma rectangular, hecha de madera y pipotes o barriles metálicos, identificados individualmente con los logos de distintas marcas de gasolinas de los años 50. Por otra parte, los bancos para sentarse, que están distribuidos a lo largo de esa barra, están hechos en madera y hierro forjado, con el posapié adornado con piñones de motocicletas, detalle que los hacen lucir muy coquetos y llamativos como se puede apreciar en las siguientes fotografías:

Más adelante, hacia el fondo del recinto, nos encontramos con una pared decorada con el logo del restaurante y una colección de coloridos cascos de motorizados. En un lado, tienen estacionada una motocicleta racer negra.

Antes de pasar hacia el área donde está ubicada la moto negra, podemos dirigimos hacia la izquierda y encontraremos otra entrada o salida del local, esto depende de cómo se mire. En esta área tienen una pared decorada con distintas fotografías alusivas al mundo del motociclismo y un afiche que contiene información general e histórica del café racer. En la parte superior de las paredes de esa entrada, se exhiben dos llamativas motos y una bicicleta, todas ellas suspendidas en la parte alta de unos ventanales.

Hasta ahora solo les he mostrado, la parte interior del restaurante, área que yo catalogaría como el recinto principal del Café racer. Ahora, los trasladaré virtualmente hacia al área de afuera, donde encontraremos distintos ambientes a elegir a la hora de comer o de querer tomarse unos tragos en este exquisito lugar. Para concluir esta publicación, dejé para el final el riquísimo plato de alitas de pollo que nos comimos en este espectacular sitio y que fue la razón que dio pie para que viviera esta fantástica experiencia, como fue la de conocer por sorpresa un restaurante tan llamativo y con tanta trayectoria. ¡Ah! Y les digo que comparto el criterio de mi hijo con respecto a las alitas. ¡Son las mejores que me he comido en mi vida!

The place is decorated with authentic motorcycles and a large number of objects and accessories characteristic of the world of motorcycling, all strategically located, so that it gives the feeling that you are in a kind of museum restaurant.
I loved the restaurant, I really enjoyed observing each of the details that I discovered as I walked through it. The first thing that caught my attention was an old gasoline dispenser located near the entrance of the restaurant, I had already seen it in pictures, but I did not know it belonged to that restaurant.

Upon entering the main area, the first thing I saw was the colorful and ingenious bar, rectangular in shape, made of wood and metal barrels, individually identified with the logos of different gasoline brands from the 50's. On the other hand, the benches, which are distributed along the bar, are made of wood and wrought iron, with the footboard decorated with motorcycle sprockets, a detail that makes them look very flirtatious and striking as can be seen in the following photographs:
