When I think of the word hero, immediately my mind travels at the speed of light to find me in front of Ironman, the best superhero that according to my criteria exists!

If you think about it, Ironman is human, his super powers come from technology and he is a man full of vices and arrogance, so perfect he is not and that's what I love about him, so human, so vulnerable, so full of flaws, but with a big heart, a chicken heart as my brother says. 

So today beautiful empowered women of #LadiesofHive Community, let's dive into our reflections on the 2 great questions in this week's #contest of the week proposed by @saffisara. 

**First Question: Sometimes we meet amazing people who in our eyes are true heroes, but many times they are behind the curtains and not many know it. Who is your silent hero?**


That's an interesting question, because there are so many silent heroes and in so many different areas, so we have that as children our first heroes were our parents. I'm sure you remember as a child your mom and dad as those beings with incredible powers who could solve everything.

When you grew up a little more and were in school your new super heroes were your teachers and I am talking about those vocational teachers, of whom I am sure at this moment you may be evoking a sweet memory, that teacher who not only taught you about geography or mathematics, but also taught you about ethics, love for what we do, passion and desire to excel.

If we move forward in time, maybe your next super hero was that amazing boss or your great co-worker, the one who helped you grow and encouraged you to be a better professional. That boss who with patience or maybe without patience, but in the form of constant challenge and demand pushed you to the limits of your potential until you took off like a rocket. 

With all this I want to say that at every stage of our life there will always appear a silent super hero, an anonymous hero who rescues us or rescues several people from the situation they are in, which leads me to talk today about my SILENT SUPER HEROES. 

Today I want to give a standing ovation to all the thousands of Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics who are out there right now, on the front lines of the battle, even at the cost of their own lives, facing the virus that silently, invisibly sneaks into the vulnerable bodies of people who fall ill. 

They for me are the heroes of this age. They no longer have a red cape or a metallic suit, instead they wear white coats and a stethoscope.  They have no weapons or resources to protect them, as they are as vulnerable as any mortal, but still, they go out every day to do their job SAVE LIVES. 

And I am sure that at the end of the day, for a few moments they feel the peace of mind, the happiness of knowing that they have saved a life. They do not fight against Thanos or extraterrestrial beings that want to conquer the earth; but they fight against an invisible virus that wants to take over human lives and yes, many times it is their lives that are taken away. They know this, but their love, their passion for what they do is the energy they need to keep going.

# **<center>So Thank You to all the doctors, nurses and paramedics who are putting their lives on the line right now to save ours!</center>** <center>👊 💪</center>

**Second question: If you could take a leap into the unknown.... where would you jump?**

I declare myself a coward when it comes to taking a leap into the unknown. I like security, knowing the possible results and consequences of my actions. I am an overly analytical person, so jumping into the void or taking that leap of faith, requires great motivation, courage and risk.  So I tell them that I am learning to let go, to trust and to take that leap of faith.  Having the above pillars help me to flow with what I want to achieve. 

The biggest leap into the unknown I can take is the leap into marriage.  I got married 21 years ago and divorced 2 years into my marriage. That is 19 years ago. Plus I never remarried, that's not to say I haven't been in relationships, but when relationships become monotonous, or I start to discover some form of jealousy or control from the other person, I run away. Many times they don't realize what happened until they see the dust left by my heels on the run.

I know that for many women taking that leap is easy. The truth is, for me it's not! And the funny thing is, I'd like to take it, to take that leap of Faith and trust the other person.  The truth is, I am working on it; it is not easy, but it is not impossible when one sets out to achieve something in life.  When I achieve it, I will be telling you about it.

Si lo piensas bien, Ironman es humano, sus super poderes provienen de la tecnología y él es un hombre lleno de vicios y arrogancia, así que perfecto no es y eso es lo que me encanta de él, tan humano, tan vulnerable, tan lleno de defectos, pero con un gran corazón, un corazón de pollo como dice mi hermano. 

Así que hoy hermosas mujeres empoderadas de #LadiesofHive Community, vamos a adentrarnos en nuestras reflexiones acerca de las 2 geniales preguntas en el #contest de la semana propuestas por @saffisara. 

**Primera Pregunta: A veces conocemos a personas increíbles que a nuestros ojos son verdaderos héroes, pero muchas veces están detrás de las cortinas y no muchos lo saben. ¿Quién es tu héroe silencioso?**

Esa es una interesante pregunta, pues héroes silenciosos hay tantos y en tan diversas áreas, así tenemos que de niños nuestros primeros héroes fueron nuestros padres. Seguro que recuerdas de pequeño a tu mamá y  a tu papá como esos seres con poderes increíbles que podían solucionarlo todo.

Cuando creciste un poco más y estabas en la escuela tus nuevos super héroes fueron tus maestros y estoy hablando de esos maestros de vocación, de quienes estoy segura en este momento puedes estar evocando un dulce recuerdo, ese profesor que no solo te enseñó acerca de geografía o matemáticas, también te enseñó de ética, de amor por lo que hacemos, de pasión y deseos de superación.

Si avanzamos en el tiempo, quizá tu próximo super héroe fue ese jefe increíble o tu gran compañero de trabajo, ese que te ayudó a crecer y te animó a ser un mejor profesional. Ese jefe que con paciencia o tal vez sin paciencia, sino en forma de reto y exigencia constante te llevó a los límites de tu potencial hasta que despegaste como un cohete. 

Con todo esto quiero decir que en cada etapa de nuestra vida siempre va a aparecer un super héroe silencioso, un héroe anónimo que nos rescata o rescata a varias personas de la situación en la que se encuentran, lo que me lleva a hablar el día de hoy de mis SUPER HEROES SILENCIOSOS. 

Hoy quiero dar una ovación de pie a todos los miles de Médicos, Enfermeras y Paramédicos que están en este momento afuera, en las primeras filas de la batalla, aun a costa de su propia vida, enfrentando al virus que silente, invisible se cuela en los cuerpos vulnerables de personas que caen enfermas.

Ellos para mí son los héroes de esta época. Ya no tienen una capa roja o un traje metálico, en su lugar usan bata blanca y un estetoscopio.  No tienen armas o recursos que los protejan, pues son tan vulnerables como cualquier mortal, pero aun así, salen todos los días a cumplir su trabajo SALVAR VIDAS. 

Y estoy segura que al finalizar el día, por unos instantes sienten la tranquilidad, la felicidad de saber que han salvado una vida. Ellos no luchan contra Thanos o seres extraterrestres que quieren conquistar la tierra; pero luchan contra un virus invisible que quiere apoderarse de las vidas humanas y si, muchas veces son sus vidas las que son arrebatadas. Ellos lo saben, pero su amor, su pasión por lo que hacen es la energía que requieren para seguir adelante.

**Segunda pregunta: Si pudieras dar un salto a lo desconocido... ¿a dónde saltarías?**

Me declaro cobarde al momento de dar un salto a lo desconocido. Me gusta la seguridad, saber los posibles resultados y consecuencias de mis acciones. Soy una persona demasiado analítica, así que saltar al vacío o dar ese salto de fe, requiere de una gran motivación, valentía y riesgo.  Entonces les cuento que estoy aprendiendo a soltar, a confiar y a dar ese salto de Fe.  Tener los anteriores pilares me ayudan a fluir con lo que quiero lograr. 

El mayor salto a lo desconocido que pueda dar es el salto a un matrimonio.  Me casé hace 21 años y me divorcié a los 2 años de casada. Es decir, hace 19 años. Más nunca me volví a casar, eso no quiere decir que no haya estado en relaciones de pareja, pero cuando las relaciones se vuelven monótonas, o empiezo a descubrir cierta forma de celos o control por parte de la otra persona, me alejo corriendo. Muchas veces no se dan cuenta de lo que ocurrió hasta que ven el polvo dejado por mis talones en la carrera.

Sé que para muchas mujeres dar ese salto es fácil. La verdad, para mí no lo es!  Y lo más gracioso es que me gustaría darlo, dar ese salto de Fe y confiar en la otra persona.  La verdad, estoy trabajando en ello; fácil no es, pero tampoco imposible cuando una se propone lograr algo en la vida.  Cuando lo logre, les estaré contando.
