**I arrived home, very excited about my new painting that I had just bought in an art gallery,** I began to look for the best place to place that beautiful painting, which is very much identified with me because it represents a very elegant lady drinking a cup of coffee.

While I was trying to place it on a large white wall that faces the front door of my house, **I noticed that there was something on the back of the painting, I placed it on a piece of furniture while I checked what it was.**

I had to break a little to get an envelope that was hidden there, it looked pretty old for its color, I grabbed it and uncovered it with some nervousness, *for a moment I imagined it was a considerable sum of dollars, but it was not,* **it was a letter written in black pen and I began to read it ....**

The first thing I saw was the date of the day it was written (I presume). **May 19, 1999 (23 years ago).**

Hello, my name is Maria Eugenia Mendoza. I hope there is still time and that it is not too late.

For many years I worked in a very powerful family house in Venezuela, **(they were mafia people)** everyone trusted me and treated me well, but one night the owner of the house arrived somewhat drunk and raped me, he threatened me that if I said anything, not only would he throw me out, but he would send me to disappear and no one would know my whereabouts.

Out of fear I kept quiet, but after a few months I realized that my menstruation did not come **(at first I did not think it was important, since I had an irregular menstrual cycle)**, but I began to feel discomfort, such as nausea, dizziness and I had no appetite.
 
This set off the alarm bells and on my day off I decided to visit the doctor, who confirmed through an ultrasound that **I was already 3 months pregnant.**

I didn't know what to do, I went out crying, walking through the streets, I arrived at a boulevard where there were some benches and there I sat down.
 
After meditating the situation, I decided to risk my life, I went to the house where I worked to talk to the wife of the man who abused me and I told her everything.

She was always a very calm woman, with a soft and affectionate tone of voice, but this time she turned into a fierce woman, insulted me and slapped me, claiming that I was a fortune house and that what she wanted was her husband's money.

**Crying I asked her for help with some money to go far away where they would never know about me again, and not to tell her husband, and she refused.**

What she did was to call him and tell him to come immediately to the house and tell him everything with me, and he said that it was me who came on to him and that we had had sex, because I was a whore.

They decided to leave me in that house until my baby was born, **(they had no children, I don't know why)**, they locked me in a basement of the house and there they fed me and took care of me, I never went to the hospital again, a doctor they trusted **(also a mafioso, very well paid)** visited me every month until the day my daughter was born, which was in that same room **(she was a beautiful girl)**. 

During that time no one knew about me, they arranged everything with their money to make believe that I had disappeared without leaving a single trace or reason.

**After the birth of my baby they no longer needed me and I disappeared forever.**

In all those months I managed to write this letter and place it behind this painting that I knew they wanted to auction it.

Here I leave you the address and the names and surnames of these infamous, unscrupulous and criminal people, they called the child Maria de los Angeles.
 
Please help me to denounce this family so that they do not continue to do harm and that my daughter knows her true descendants.
