*Hello to all my dear friends of this beautiful community, first of all my respect, a hug from a distance and wishing you all well.*

Today I tell you how was my weekend, in advance I tell you that it was excellent. Saturday was the birthday of Fernando Martinez (**my youngest daughter's father-in-law**). They live in San Felipe, Yaracuy state/Venezuela and his family mostly lives in Maracay, Aragua state/Venezuela.

**He turned 60, and his children and wife prepared a big surprise for him on that day.**

First they invited all his family, with the intention that most of them would attend, they hired a transport to take him on Saturday to Yaracuy and return them back on Sunday afternoon, the trip is not so long either, it is approximately 3 to 4 hours by road, but as not everyone has a car they decided to send for them, so they would have no excuses for not attending the party!!!!

Here is a small sample of a big family.



Mr. Fernando works in a company from Monday to Saturday, that Saturday he got up very early, his children and wife congratulated him but without much fanfare and he went to work as usual.

*Immediately everyone got active and went to Mr. Fernando's farm located in Campo Elias, a few minutes from his home. They received the party and the decoration of the place, they began to prepare everything planned in advance*.

They hired 4 waiters, 6 tables, 60 chairs. 60 chairs, 3 cooks who were in charge of making cachapas and many pasos such as meat balls, tequeños, empanaditas, tartaletas, among others and a waiter who was only in charge of cooking a pig in a Chinese box; plus a lot of delicious sweets.

We all arrived at the farm, there were some siblings and cousins who for reasons beyond their control could not attend.
Everything was very nice, at 6pm they went to pick up Mr. Fernando at work and with permission of his boss **(who was also an accomplice of the situation)**, and he was invited to the party, they took him to the farm!!!!

*I had the opportunity to record with my phone that moment when Mr. Fernando arrived at the farm, his face of astonishment and happiness is indescribable, he says that he expected a cake and a few beers at most, but not that beautiful decoration with tables, chairs and even waiters, hahahaha.*

**But what surprised him the most was to see a large part of his family that had long time without sharing with them, he could not stand and started crying, everyone was hidden inside the house, they came out to welcome him,** I recorded everything but I still do not know how to upload videos on this platform, it would be great to enjoy that moment, because it was a great show, but well I'm still telling them, hahahaha.


After crying like a child and hugging his people, he asked one of the waiters to serve him a whiskey, we sat at different tables and the waiters started to spoil us.
Some of us drank beers, others whisky, rum, wine, soft drinks, etc. And we began to enjoy this beautiful celebration.

There was really a lot of food and drinks, everything was delicious.

Here receiving one of its best gifts, a "vuelve a la vida" (that's how we call it here in Venezuela), a preparation of shellfish and mollusks.

The mariachis arrived at 9pm, we all had our drinks on us, hahaha so not only the birthday boy enjoyed it, we all sang and danced.

*When the Mariachis sang the song **"Cielito lindo"**, the birthday boy began to cry again, commenting that this was the song that his mother sang to him when he was a child, that even though she passed away 28 years ago, he always remembers it as if it was yesterday and with great nostalgia.*

Well, we continued with the bochinche, **at 12 o'clock at night began the crazy hour**, and everyone was super animated by the consumption of alcohol and the joy of sharing with family, that was great.

**I tell you that we did not sing his birthday that day, I think we all forgot, hahahaha.** 
It was the next day after a great soup of ribs, chicken, legs and cattle tail that we sang the birthday, hahaha. And from there everyone went home happy and satisfied with that beautiful celebration.
