Hello everyone, my name is Mr John Tersoo Tile, a native of Konshisha Local government of Benue State, Nigeria. I am a  graduate of Civil Engineering from Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi(now Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University Makurdi), I am  really delighted and pleased to meet you all on this platform. I was Born to the family of Mr.and Mrs Athanasius Tile, a nuclear family of 6( that is;  3 boys 3 girls). I am the 2nd child and 2nd male

**EDUCATION**

I am a lover of academics. I went to 2 primary schools, two secondary schools before gaining admission to undergoing my undergraduate program in the university. The names of the schools include; Pen Nursery and primary school, Dyege Memorial College Makurdi, Tilley Gyado College Makurdi, and Lady Victoria Academy Makurdi. It was indeed fun meeting new set of peers at every instance while going to school. I had interesting, intriguing and challenging experience while switching schools. The first reason for switching from one primary school to another was due to relocation. While the reason for switching from one secondary school to another was as a result of long distance. I never felt the distance at first. But as I went further I discovered I couldn't keep up with the distance anymore. Hence the need to switch to another school. I did switched and till today I'm happy with the decision I took
As for my undergraduate program, I was opportune to study one of my dream courses. That's Civil engineering. I choose engineering due to my love for arithmetics. My first choice dream course was petrochemical engineering. However I didn't studied the course due to some financial constraints.
Presently I'm a serving Corp member of National Youth Service Corp(NYSC) deployed to Akwaibom State of Nigeria

**HOW I LEARNT ABOUT HIVE**
It was indeed accidental!
I woke up on this faithful day going through my WhatsApp status the I came across a post about Hive on one of the status of my contact. I'm talking about no other person than Mr Aondover Peter Abagi @peterabagi. I then contacted him and he explained more and guided me. That's how I ended up here with amazing people like you ❤️ 

**WHY I JOINED HIVE**
Obviously,  the decision to join Hive was made due to two basic things. First as a lover of academics, I joined Hive so as to improve my writing skills and broaden my horizon. Secondly to make cool cash in the process of educating and entertaining the world through my post and updates, because the world had been digitised and its indeed a global village.

**LIKES AND DISLIKES**

As a person, I like studying, especially calculative courses like mathematics  and physics. And I like teaching too(as shown in the photo above). I also like watching football games and movies. I also like food 😋 (I mean good food), I like meeting new people, making friends and learning from them. In summary I love adding value to myself.
However, I dislike people who don't keep to time, who are dishonest and lazy.

**WORK EXPERIENCE**

As a graduate engineer, I've had experience in highway construction, that was during my student industrial work experience scheme(SIWES). I've also been opportune to assist in supervision of some construction projects on some site.

I've also had about 3 years teaching experience in secondary school. I've thought my students who are doing well both in colleges and universities. That has always been my dream, the dream to impact knowledge into the younger generation. I just hope I will have that privilege to impact knowledge even in higher institutions of learning such as Universities, polytechnics and colleges of education. 

**CONCLUSION**
I'm really grateful to God Almighty for the gift of life and for guiding my path towards realising the existence of this amazing platform. 
I really appreciate everyone on this platform and I'm happy you've all welcome me wholeheartedly. I promise to venture a faithful service and contribute my quota towards making sure that this platform continues blossoming as always.
