Great community needs people that want to help everyone understand more about how steem works besides just upvoting and posting or comments.
   Videos of tutorials are great, I’m still learning.
There are so many people out there that spend a lot of time helping out the commmunuty, I just would like to thank them all.

Would anyone be interested in steem fronted that would use PageRank algorithm to rank accounts? That way the person's value could be much more objectively determined. Another idea is to have a new post cost $0.01 so that you can't write tons of shitty posts and spam the blockchain.

My suggetion is to built a comunity for  upvoting quality ql and usefull content..for reaching to so many peoples..

I think that new users should have some guide directions when they create their accounts. Maybe that would be more interesting for new users and they don't give up right away in the start. Like many users did. We have many registered users which are not active. I think that Steemit has much potential to grow in the future. I wish you happy New Year.   :D

Good community as here

I hope stores and other businesses  will soon except crytpo hopefully steem/steemdollars. I hope the steem price continues to go up.  Also maybe just a fun thing for the community we should do steem tournaments, and like steemit could have like clubs, or groups and you would participate in the group on the platform of steemit or something like that. And that's when you could do tournaments, or games, other discussion etc.

My personal goal is to bring as many people to steemit as possible. By word of mouth, advertisement (that the community seems to be in approval of), flyers, etc... **ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING** to reach as many eyes as possible in the most positive ways I can.

I want people to know that something like this exists, as I know so many people don't.. yet have internet access....

on steemit there should be a system of grouping with different topic just like facebook groups

As a community I believe there should be a 'marketplace' something like an area or platform where Steemians can showcase their art, creations and inventions and sell products.  There are so many of us who are naturally skilled at designing things, writing books, drawing etc., (I see it as I travel through the categories listed on Steemit) that the System does not recognise unless you're a celebrity or have money.   As a Steemit Community we should be galvanizing our power to make a difference in people's lives which means empowering fellow Steemians to become financially free, much like what cryptocurrency is doing for a lot of us.  

It would be great to get that support from the Steemit Platform as well as helping to promote ideas and projects fellow Steemians are working on.  Peace.

I would love to see huge workforce working daily and enhancing projects like eSteem. 

The app is working quite well, but if made bullet proof along with providing regular updates fulfilling community requests and a 24/7 support, it would make the app go BOOM... and because mobile gadgets are the mainstream of social media, it would indeed make Steemit more attractive and valuable.

This is me looking at the enterprise business level of how STEEM could be really noticed. Of course price is a major factor too, but my point is "if my Mom can do it..." then STEEM will value a LOT!

excellent ideas for the development of the platform, I believe STEEM and SBD and their greater integration into the real world. As mentioned before, this is an opportunity to buy real things for STEEM or SBD, so that people could make transactions selling / buying real things thanks to the platform, this is really a great idea.
Just as we all know that the search is completely unsatisfactory and new users sometimes find it difficult to find the information they need, the search needs to be improved ..

**3- Earn Rewards By investing Steem, and Powering Up on the platform (earning interests and curating increases)**

Another thing you can do when you gain more trust on Steemit, and start earning rewards, is buying steem from exchanges, any amount, $20 USD, 50 USD, 100 USD or whatever amount you are confortable with, and this will make you start looking Steemit and Steem as an investment, and not only a way to make money by posting. Actually as the very known @timcliff explains, and we remarked (and other steemians I credited for their quality contribution posts too) in chapter #3 and the first chapters, is that when we start seeing the platform and technology as an investment, all our perspective changes completely, and sooner or later we start doing things to make steem and steemit more valuable, and thus this transforms into a benefit for all, and the all the power of all people on the platform mixed together is what its producing the butterfly growth effect.

Thank you @timcliff for all your contributions for the steemit community, and for the steemit road map of 2018, and for trasmitting all the valuable ideas as a big community voice to the developers and steemit inc. Your work is very much appreciated. I definitely recommend you to follow @timcliff . You will definitely learn a lot from him. Actually the follow 2 posts are of great value and a must read from him. One of them is a post from @terrybrock a very known steemian and early investor on the platform that interviewed @timcliff and here he reveals many things he has done when he started initially like one of us, being unknown. So, he changed himself from unknown to one of the most respected users in the steemit community. And @terrybrock made up this great interview for all of us to learn from Tim Cliff's experience and process.
