I live on one of the barrier islands so I expect to be evacuated. I will most likely head inland. The challenge right now is where this things heads. With a path that could hit any part of the state, moving right now might put one right in the path.

Being one to blast the government for ineptitude and enslaving behavior, I do have to give the state of Florida itself credit. They have hurricanes down to a science. The emergency services and protocol the state has really makes for a quicker recovery. I see what happens with other states, the screw ups, like Louisiana and realize how much better this state handles these storms. Of course, that comes from practice.
