In Myanmar, the military and generals own many large corporations.
The country is poor, but the generals are rich.
The military and the generals own companies that produce beverages such as Whisky and Beer.

The military is now violently seizing power.
As a result, most people are protesting every day.
We have to plan not to  buy and use the goods which the military-owned companies as we do Boycott.

Here, it is very difficult for alcoholics to avoid drinking military-owned liquor.
Imported liquor is more expensive than military-produced liquor and it is not available everywhere.
However, we have avoided military products as much as possible.

Here, I want to describe some natural seasonal Brewery and food.

The natural brewery in the picture is palm juice.
Palm juice is a natural liquid extracted from the buds of palm trees. It tastes sweet.
When the sweet palm juice is soaked with some wood, you get an intoxicating palm juice.
This juice can be consumed from spring until the rainy season.
I have to pay 150 Kyats for a glass of palm juice as seen in the picture.
Ordinary people can get intoxicated by drinking 4 cups of this palm juice.
Four cups of palm juice cost 600 kyats, which is about $ 0.45 in USD.

The food you see in the picture is Fried Rat.
Rat meats are eaten  up most during the summer. Consumption is low during the rest of the season.
A fried rat costs 1,500 kyats, which is more than $ 1 in USD.

In spring, palm juice and fried rat are one of the most popular foods.
