Hey friends. It's been awhile since I have posted, but I made it my goal for the week to post something to Steemit every day. This first one is mostly so I can figure out what has changed and get used to using the editor. What have all of you consistent Steemians liked/disliked about the editor? Any tips for a relative newbie? I don't see a way to center text/objects even though there are heading/font size options now. I am also kind of disappointed I haven't found a way for the heading/font sizes to change selected text in this post. I see it works for the bold/italic/strikethrough/monospace options, though.

Some things I hope to talk about this week include:

My 30 things I want to do before 30. One of my last posts mentioned this and I haven't forgot about it.

What Kharma, SpideyCat, and Sunflower have been up to, because we all know they are the true stars of the house.

We bought a house! @quantumanomaly and I navigated the perilous market of real estate, rediscovered our Superpowers for frugality and will be closing on our first home at the end of the month.

What I have been up to the past something like 6 months? instead of posting to Steemit.

I don't really have a 5th item, yet. I just felt like 5 felt more pleasing for a numbered list. I will come up with number 5 probably right after I hit submit.

Alright, so I think I have used all of the buttons in the editor in this post except the quotes, which I am doing now in this statement.

Oh, wait, how could I forget a picture?

@quantumanomaly and I celebrated our saving up for the down payment on the house and our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary by taking a mini vacation to see a show in STL, and we stopped by the Science Center while we were there.

Some final thoughts on the editor after this post: I had a pretty good idea as I was writing this, but I am certain now that I will most likely use the standard markdown for the majority of my posts. I like the ease of the editor, but I think it may be more viable for me with short posts. I still had to insert the picture using markdown because when I tried to insert with the editor I either used the wrong url or it just doesn't make the image visible in the preview. After doing that, I couldn't return to the editor on the post, so I have some learning to do yet. Either way, I am glad to try it out and to get back in the habit of blogging here. Again, if you clever ladies and gents have any input for me, I would be happy to try to implement it on my future posts.
Let me know what you have been up to in the comments below. I have intermittently checking in on my feed from time to time, but it's good to be active again.
Until next time,
