☆☆☆ The weather report. Part 1
http://i2.cdn.cnn.com/cnnnext/dam/assets/170608095744-brad-pitt-weather-exlarge-169.jpg

It was a rather sunny morning when X woke up from a rather lousy dream. X had not really much to do. He lay in his bed looking at the white ceiling which was somewhat brighter near the closed windows. The square corners of his room, however, stood out. He noticed how the light seemed to be suspended there, making the edges of the corners particularly bright. Although X didn’t often open the windows to breathe in the polluted city air, he occasionally did so. If only to fool himself into thinking that he didn’t want to keep completely to himself.

It was supposed to be a sunny day. At least the weatherman had confidently proclaimed that the night before and it was X’s fullest intention to spend the day inside. That way he could avoid the terribly polluted air, the blistering sun, and most of all he didn’t have to respond to the smiles he so often received for his good looks from women he didn’t want to get to know.
Jack Turrow from the *Sun Times* had listed all the benefits from being outside on a sunny day. X had gone through the trouble and cut out the article to remind himself that the world was still full of good-hearted, naïve people and attached it to his fridge with a sticky magnet. According to the author the benefits included, but were not limited to:

•	being more relaxed
•	having the chance for being seen as an outgoing person
•	receiving Vitamin D which the skin apparently produces from sunlight and provides all sorts of improvements for health (unfortunately this also reminded X of the appallingly close relationship he had to plants)
•	and being able to more fully cherish nature (which of course was not really possible in the city where he lived)

It was this amazingly comprehensive list which hung now perfectly straight on the door of his fridge. Of course X didn’t think of it right now as he was just gathering his thoughts from the disturbing dream he had had. Rhinos and zebras had been chasing him in the Royal Plaza as he was frantically trying to prevent his money from falling out of his pockets. X knew that it would be in the best interest of humanity to keep such a ridiculous image out of the collective consciousness. It was already, as everybody felt, at a tipping point, being close to unravelling itself. And nothing possibly good could come out of this.

As the ceiling he had looked at for a dreadful long time didn’t necessarily evoke fulfilling thoughts, he decided that it was a good idea to get out of bed. First, he was going to wash his feet as this had always helped him transitioning into the waking state. When he finally stood in front of his fridge to get some milk he noticed in the corners of his eyes that the kitchen room had somewhat become a shade darker. It wasn’t any immediate cause for alarm so he just proceeded in getting his milk out to pour it over the Shakers Cereal he enjoyed so much. But because it was bothering him a great deal more than he wanted to admit, he glimpsed at the western horizon which he wholeheartedly expected to be filled by at least three things: the endless blocks of concrete houses, the splendid sun, and a blue sky which would have no bounds. And so it was that he was disappointed by at least two facts. For one, the sun had a slivery speck in front of it and two, the sky was indeed filled not by a few, but a great deal of dark looking, ominous clouds. X didn’t like surprises and this certainly was one.

It was then that he decided to write a formal complaint to the weather station he had listened to the night before. He fetched his notebook, a cup of tea, and put on a frown which would help him getting into the right mood. X wasn’t happy, and he wanted the weatherman on channel 9 to know it.
