There is this popular saying of keeping the sabbath day holy. Apart from hustle and getting up every day to work and fend for our family. Another important thing we must do as humans is save our souls. Whether we believe in the existence of the Almighty, we must know that death is certain.  Therefore,  we need to live our lives as if death will come at any time soon. 

There is one peculiar thing to all humans whether rich or poor,  mighty or downtrodden and that is death.   No matter how wise you are once death comes knocking on the door,  your wisdom can't save you.

Late last night, I had thought about going to church the next morning. I reflected on my life and the situation around me.  I thought about family, friends and colleagues. I thought of the sacrifice made by people that brings me to my present position.  When I think of all these things and look back, I'm grateful for the gift of our humans in my life.  We really can't go far in life if we don't have people who believe in us,  our dreams and our aspirations.  Something must certainly keep us going.  Without vision, dreams would be scattered. We must surround ourselves with people with whom we have the same goal and share dreams and visions that align. 

I asked a series our questions last night,' what is the reason for my existence, why am I here,  what do I need to do to make a better difference than what I'm doing right now and what I have done in the past? It was so deep in thought yet I couldn't find an answer that I sought. I concluded that life is utterly meaningless, it is all a chasing after the winds. I asked again,  what is the primary purpose of human existence?  It is to serve our maker. Well,  some people are pagan as they don't believe in the existence of the Almighty.  Do things just happen? To me, I just believe some things are bound to happen. Some people call it destiny. While some people believe that preparing alone me with opportunities.  

I think if we live as one day we will die,  we would be sure to keep all day holy as against the notion of just keeping the Sabbath day holy.  You should remember that we only have one life to live. Therefore,  we should live right and do things that we won't regret later in life as many people often look back in anger and regret some actions and decisions they have taken in the past.
