Always the good food - BREAKFAST BY MANOP

I was staying in CHIANG MAI , THAILAND for around 2 month before continue my journey to other part in Thailand. Im consider so lucky meet Manop in Myanmar and he offer me to stay at his guest house when i come to Thailand. Yes , thanks to him i have my free place to stay for around 2 month.

His age is about 65 years old , but he is still strong. We have same hobbies which is taking picture . He told me that his secret to always be young is to smile , laugh and good food. And when he say good food he really mean real good food.

Everyday he ll go to market as early as 3 am to get fresh stock for the his daily food. The good thing about Chiang Mai is most of they agriculture is organic and it is very cheap. So , you can get very good , delicious and cheap stock there.

After come to home around 5 am , he ll prepare his food . He is very good in cooking. I guess because he has done this for long time . He prefer using the old method of cooking . This is him preparing breakfast for us.

He toasted bread with local butter .

Then he process the fresh pomegranate that he get from the market and blander it and cook it with honey bee.

After the pomegranate has been boil , he put the strawberry and fast cook with it . After that he put , it on the top of the bread for fresh jam .

I forget to mention , the white drink is made by fresh banana blend with fresh yogurt.

It was super yummy and delicious. Being made with old school way make it more special. Then ask me to bring the fruit that he has prepare before making those food for the kitchen .

It always good food from Manop Kitchen. Im feel bad not helping him to prepare , but he insist not to do that or else he say i ll ruin the taste. OMG !

One thing i learn from him , its good to prepare food using the old school and go for organic food if possible.
