**A necessary introduction**

There is a popular saying about Cuba that more than that has become an international slogan and it says: "Cuba is an eternal summer" and it is not very far from the truth because, despite the cool temperatures that visit us during the months of December to February, the reality is that throughout the year our country has summer temperatures.

This allows many of us to seek in trips to the beach, rivers or pools spaces for family enjoyment or choose these places for birthday celebrations, anniversaries of any significant event, graduation parties or any other reason, to have fun and have a good time.

And this Saturday, we decided to take a trip to the beach, to enjoy the wonders of nature, share a family day and get away from the daily routine of life. That is what this weekend experience is all about, to tell about this summer experience in such a beautiful and real scenario for all Cubans.

In every trip, party or activity that my wife, children, friends, co-workers or others give me the task of organizing the evening. It is a task that attracts me and has become a daily routine because I like to think of all the details and I dedicate the most of my energies to it. But, a trip to the beach doesn't need much planning, because the main objective is to have fun and have a good time.

Nevertheless, we foresaw almost everything we could: food, drinks, transportation, equipment for sports or games, the cooler to cool beers. We insisted on bathing clothes; as well as departure time, carrying everyone's documentation and of course the wallets with the money for any eventualities that might arise.

In any case, we agreed that if anything else came up we would let them know through the family WhatsApp Group we have created, to maintain our communication.

**The Beach**

Cuba is an archipelago with a great quantity and variety of coastal accidents and within them the beaches constitute one of its most representative elements. Contrary to what is believed all over the world, in Cuba we have numerous beaches that stand out for their cleanliness, natural beauty and the warmth of their waters. Cuba is not only Varadero. We have examples all over the country. One of these beaches is located in the east of Havana, the capital of the country.

The activities we did were few because the bathing on the beach took center stage. We also did other activities such as playing beach volleyball, fraternizing with each other and listening to music of all kinds, something that cannot be missing in our weekend adventures. All activities were accompanied with refreshing beer and the occasional shot of rum or mixed drink. 

No obstacle mattered, to have a good time. Being on the beach we forgot about economic problems and we realized how important it is to enjoy the joys of life, to know that there is no other time to be happy than now because in the calendar there are numbers and dates, but the moment of life is now.

This week I was sent an article by a writer named Sergio Andres Herrera Carvajal who among other things says: "Many times we stop loving, enjoying and doing so many things, as if we were eternal and we were not aware that our stay here is only a sigh".

How much truth in the above sentence. That is why, among other things, I value so much the objective of this community because beyond the monetary valuations that they can give us, it seems to me that enjoying our life is priceless and doing it with family and with the people you love is a blessing.

This day we spent another extraordinary evening and my accomplice, companion, friend, girlfriend and wife was by my side. With us our eldest son and his wife. Thanks to them for making me spend another wonderful day.</div>
