<div class="text-justify"> Uno de los derbis más apasionantes del mundo se vivió hoy en la Premier League. Se enfrentaron dos equipos históricos de esta competición que cada vez que se miden entre sí lo hacen como si estuvieran luchando por ganar la Premier o como si en ellos les fuera la vida.

Este es uno de los dos derbis apasionantes que tiene la fría capital inglesa, pero para nada esta es la temperatura que media en los encuentros que celebran. El encuentro fue reflejo de lo que está sucediendo ahora misma en la liga inglesa y un ejemplo de lo competitiva que es esta liga.

**LA PREVIA**

Hay tres elementos que considero necesario analizar en la etapa anterior al encuentro:

* La previa de este juego estuvo matizada por algo que el Arsenal no olvidará jamás, pues en la campaña anterior el Tottenham le arrebató el último puesto de la Liga de Campeones. 

* Los dos equipos están jugando muy bien y ocupan los dos primeros lugares de la tabla: El Arsenal primero, a pesar de perder un encuentro y el Tottenham invicto, pero, en segundo lugar, a solo una raya del puntero.


* Se enfrentaban dos técnicos con estilos de juegos diferente. Por una parte, Antonio Conte, director del Tottenham es un técnico conservador y como italiano que es gusta más del juego defensivo. Por su parte el técnico del Arsenal el español Mikel Arteta gusta más del juego ofensivo y desde la pretemporada ha logrado que sus jugadores y los fichajes realizados por el equipo hayan engranado de tal manera que están consiguiendo una buena cantidad de goles en este inicio de temporada que lo ha llevado a tener 6 victorias en 7 encuentros.

**PRIMER TIEMPO**

El inicio del encuentro fue fiel al estilo de juego de los dos entrenadores. Por una parte, el Tottenham con el esquema orientado por su técnico Conte, ordenados en defensa y el Arsenal de Arteta con un partido muy serio y atacando al rival. 

Así estuvo el encuentro hasta que en el minuto 20 el ghanés y ex Atlético de Madrid Thomás Partey aprovechó la tibieza de la defensa rival y lanzó un disparo que culminó en gol. 1 a 0 ganaba el Arsenal y se estaba haciendo justicia a lo que estaba ocurriendo en el partido.

A partir de ese momento fue que el Tottenham se enteró que estaba en el partido y comenzaron a mejorar su juego e inquietar el arco rival hasta que en el minuto 31 el brasileño y delantero del Arsenal Gabriel Jesús derribó dentro del área a su coterráneo y delantero del Tottenham Richarlison, para que el colegiado decretara la pena máxima.

El penalti fue cobrado por Harry Kane. Aquí se produjo un hecho histórico, pues Kane anotó desde los 11 pasos, empató el partido y anoto su gol número 100 como visitante en la Premier, para liderar este departamento, en toda la historia de la competición.

El partido volvió a su cauce original, pero no se movió el marcador y el 1er tiempo culminó con un empate a un gol por bando.  

Al final del primer tiempo, el Arsenal tuvo las mayores opciones, dominó el periodo, pero este culminó igualado a 1.

**SEGUNDO TIEMPO**

Poco tiempo necesitó el Arsenal para demostrar quién mandaba en el partido. A los 4 minutos Gabriel Jesús, uno de los mejores jugadores del partido, recogió un balón disparado por su compañero Bukayo Saka y que el portero Hugo Llorís no pudo atrapar ni Cristian Romero despejar lo que aprovechó el delantero brasileño, para anotar el segundo tanto del Arsenal. 

El partido seguía intenso, pero a los 15 minutos del segundo tiempo sucedió una jugada que terminaría por decantar el juego cuando Emerson fue expulsado con roja directa, por un pisotón al brasileño Gabriel Martinelli, dejando a su equipo perdiendo 2 goles por 1 y con un hombre de menos.

 A partir de ese momento el Arsenal intensificó su ataque y en el minuto 22 del segundo tiempo el suizo Granit Xhaka anotó y puso el 3 a 1 que dejaba fuera de combate al Tottenham.

A partir de ese momento Antonio Conte hizo algunos ajustes en su equipo, con el objetivo de evitar que le cayeran más goles. El Arsenal entendió lo que hacía el equipo rival y bajó la intensidad del partido que ya no se movería más y culminaba con la victoria del Arsenal sobre el Tottenham 3 goles por 1.

**RESUMEN**

Fue un partido redondo para el Arsenal: Logró mantener la punta de la exigente Premier League, se vengó de lo ocurrido en la campaña anterior, cuando los Spurs lo sacaron de la máxima competición a nivel de clubes de fútbol mundial y mandaron un mensaje claro, para todos los equipos y es que vienen decididos a estar en la parte alta de la tabla y ganar un puesto para la próxima Liga de Campeones de Fútbol. 

Otro elemento importante es que le gana a un rival directo y por el momento le saca cuatro puntos de ventaja.

¿Ganará la Premier el Arsenal?, ¿Se acabó la competición para el Tottenham? 

Siendo honesto me parece que hay equipos en la Premier que pueden desbancar al Arsenal del primer lugar, pero esto es deporte y hay que demostrar en el terreno el favoritismo.

Por otra parte, no creo que al Tottenham se le haya acabado la posibilidad de estar entre los 4 al final de la temporada, pues tienen equipo para luchar por ese objetivo.

Una cosa sí es segura el Arsenal impuso su ley en el partido y demostró que lo hecho en la pretemporada pudo ser un preludio de algo grande en esta temporada.</div>

One of the most exciting derbies in the world took place today in the Premier League. Two historic teams of this competition faced each other and every time they face each other they do it as if they were fighting to win the Premier League or as if their lives depended on it.

This is one of the two exciting derbies that the cold English capital has, but this is not at all the average temperature in the matches they celebrate. The match was a reflection of what is happening right now in the English league and an example of how competitive this league is.

***THE PREVIEW***

There are three elements that I consider necessary to analyze in the run-up to the game:
* The lead-up to this game was colored by something Arsenal will never forget, as in the previous campaign Tottenham snatched the last Champions League spot from them. 

* Both teams are playing very well and occupy the top two places in the table: Arsenal first, despite losing one game and Tottenham undefeated, but, in second place, just a stripe behind the pointer.


* Two coaches with different styles of play faced each other. On the one hand, Antonio Conte, Tottenham's manager is a conservative coach and as an Italian he likes to play more defensively. On the other hand, Arsenal's Spanish coach, Mikel Arteta, likes to play an offensive game and since the preseason he has managed to get his players and the signings made by the team to mesh in such a way that they are scoring a good amount of goals in this beginning of the season which has led them to have 6 wins in 7 matches.

**FIRST HALF**

The start of the match was faithful to the style of play of the two coaches. On the one hand, Tottenham with the scheme oriented by their coach Conte, orderly in defense and Arteta's Arsenal with a very serious game and attacking the opponent. 

That was how the game went until the 20th minute when the Ghanaian and former Atlético de Madrid player Thomás Partey took advantage of the rival defense's lukewarmness and launched a shot that culminated in a goal. Arsenal won 1-0 and justice was being done to what was happening in the match.

The penalty was taken by Harry Kane. It was a historic moment, as Kane scored from the penalty spot to tie the match and score his 100th away goal in the Premiership, to lead this department in the history of the competition.

The game returned to its original flow, but the scoreboard remained unchanged and the first half ended with a one-all draw.  

At the end of the first half, Arsenal had the better chances, dominated the half, but the half ended level at 1:1.

**SECOND HALF**

It took Arsenal little time to show who was in control of the game. After 4 minutes, Gabriel Jesus, one of the best players of the match, collected a ball shot by his teammate Bukayo Saka that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris could not catch and Cristian Romero could not clear, which the Brazilian striker took advantage of to score Arsenal's second goal. 

The match was still intense, but 15 minutes into the second half, a play happened that would end up deciding the game when Emerson was sent off with a straight red card for a stomp on Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli, leaving his team trailing 2 goals to 1 and with a man down.

 From that moment on, Arsenal intensified their attack and in the 22nd minute of the second half, the Swiss Granit Xhaka scored to make it 3-1 and put Tottenham out of action.

From that moment on Antonio Conte made some adjustments to his team, aiming to prevent more goals from falling to them. Arsenal understood what the rival team was doing and lowered the intensity of the match, which would not move any more and culminated with Arsenal's victory over Tottenham 3 goals to 1.

**SUMMARY**

It was a great game for Arsenal: they managed to keep the lead in the demanding Premier League, took revenge for what happened in the previous season, when Spurs knocked them out of the top competition at world soccer club level and sent a clear message to all teams that they are determined to be at the top of the table and earn a place in the next Champions League. 

Another important element is that they beat a direct rival and are currently four points ahead.

Will Arsenal win the Premiership, is the competition over for Tottenham? 

To be honest, it seems to me that there are teams in the Premiership that can unseat Arsenal from the top spot, but this is sport and you have to prove your favoritism on the field.

On the other hand, I don't think Tottenham have run out of chances to be in the top 4 at the end of the season, as they have the team to fight for that goal.

One thing is for sure, Arsenal imposed their law in the match and showed that what they did in the preseason could be a prelude to something big this season.
