<div class="text-justify"> Today I want to share with you my perspective on one of the topics proposed by @galenkp for this week 269, which has to do with optimism and pessimism.<p> 

In my personal experience, I've been a person who, at times in my life, has been overcome by pessimism and has been a negative person. Doubts about my abilities, my health, or my personal energy have overcome me. However, I've found inner strength or had the help of my loved ones, and I've been able to turn pessimism into optimism.

If you ask me how I define myself, I would say that I'm an optimist.

And why am I an optimist?

· I focus on the positive and look for opportunities for growth, even in the challenges life throws at me.

· I have hope that I can overcome the obstacles life throws at me and that I will improve with my effort and dedication.

I have self-love and positive self-esteem that allows me to live with my mistakes and overcome them.

I can recognize the negative and positive aspects of a situation and don't let the negative aspects overcome me.

I maintain healthy social relationships and seek and provide support from others.

I have a positive attitude toward life and look for solutions instead of waiting for them to fall from the sky.

I surround myself with positive people and avoid negativity in my circle.

I practice gratitude for the good people and things that life gives me.

I take care of my physical and mental health.

In 2021, I was diagnosed with prostatic hyperplasia. Although my mood was initially depressed, I looked for ways I could live with the disease, improve, and live a more fulfilling life. And the illness is still there, but despair and grief haven't overcome me, and I live a normal and full life.

In 2010, I began a specialization course in Postgraduate Teaching in Psychopedagogy. There were several very challenging modules, and two professors were determined to prevent me from graduating. However, my desire to advance prevailed, and two years later, I became a specialist.

In 1997, I began a relationship with my current wife, and her maternal family didn't like me because of my skin color. My approach to the situation, my loving actions toward my wife and children, and my time with them changed my mother-in-law's perception of me, and our relationship will celebrate its 28th anniversary on October 29th.

I once read that life is too short to live half-heartedly or that we should live it as intensely as possible, and I believe this way of seeing life is for optimists.
