9K Run progressive testing new Running Shoes
As I promised yesterday, today it was time to run a little longer on a flat surface and in a controlled manner from less to more speed to "savor" the new running shoes.
Actually these [Mizuno Wave Rider 25](https://www.runningxpert.com/en/inspiration/test-mizuno-wave-rider-25) have much more cushioning than the previous model, in fact, it's like running on cottons which worries me a bit because the more damping the slower they tend to be...which does not seem to be the case.

Actually, it has been very easy for me to get to cruising paces below 4'20"/km during the last 3 km of my run and also with the wind against although I think I will have to try them on the athletics track to see if the energy return is good, but that will be another day.

Today I limited myself to running strictly progressively along the coast to the north and back to the beginning.

By the way, the day has been somewhat sunnier than the last few days but the sky is still a bit gray although temperatures have also risen.

The shoes play a fundamental role in the sport and when jogging, I have some that are not so comfortable in contact with the ground, that's a problem. Is it better comfort or speed?

I envy you running by the sea. It's a long way from me to any sea. Good to hear the new shoes are quick. I do wonder how much difference shoes can make. I tend to worry more about comfort and protection from injury.
