An idea for RUNCOIN implementation... Just a proposal, nothing serious...for the moment :-)

Since our main developer, colleague and master, @dragosroua , is moving forward in favor of the RUNCOIN development (see https://steemit.com/steemit/@dragosroua/runcoin-update-strava-integration-remote-posting-tests ), I would just launch this idea in order to see if it would be something feasible or I am just a daydreamer :-)...

Some of you may know that I am a complete FAN and promoter of BOINC and GRIDCOIN, actually I am not mining but BOINCing instead because I believe is ethically more efficient and satisfying.
When you use your computer idle time in order to run complex computational algorithms, helping the research and science community you are twice rewarded, first by discovering solutions and develops for the mankind and second by obtaining GRIDCOIN (staking).
But I don't want to talk about BOINC and GRIDCOIN this time.

The proposal is:

**Would not be possible to implement a kind of App. as BOINC in our Cell Phones (android or iOS) that would be connected to the RUNCOIN Blockchain, ensuring transactions by, for instance, a derivate of Proof-Of-Stake and Proof-Of-Run altogether while practicing running?**
<h5>Possible Variables to take into account in the algorithm development:</h5>
- Speed/Pace
- Altitude 
- Lenght
- Heart Beat (not sure about)
- ...

In principle, the system will allow you "to stake" or be rewarded with  RUNCOINS depending on:

- Your available RUNCOINS in your wallet (a kind of "MAGNITUDE" as it is in GRIDCOIN), so, you would need to acquire RUNCOINS before earning them by running.
- Your Running Performance

To maintain the BLOCKCHAIN just a few nodes will be needed but, in order to get a good level of Transactions management, every runner, executing the app in their terminals would be part of the net so **ensuring the Blockchain performance as well while getting healthy :-)**.

Unfortunately I don't have the knowledge neither the skills to develop this app but I hope someone here can give his opinion in terms of proposal feasibility.

I thought I would had more time to write something more accurate during the Chritsmas Holidays but, having two kids and family at home these days  have been totally impossible...

Sounds very interesting. I'm not sure yet there will be a Runcoin blockchain, or if it will be, it will most likely be a light implementation, one that would fit into mobile devices. The staking idea is very interesting, I thought about something similar. Will add it to my to do list. Thanks :)

Good day, Mr. toofasteddie. May I ask, when you say 'need to be developed further', do you mean like letting strangers muck around and stir in other ideas which may not suit you?
If you do, IT IS YOUR LUCKY DAY!!!
I have enjoyed seeing my 'heartbeats per kilometer' metric on my runs. I've been below 800, and I think I'll aim for single-digits ;) Anyway, I wish it helped to define effort, but I'm not all that mathy, so if anything it'll be unexpectedly useful...like digit-sum checking or something...

It seems like a good thought to implement it for sure. I really like the part about having the coins already in the wallet as a magnitude as it encourages people to stay invested in the platform.

I'm just so excited about the fact of a crypto ran through running!
