I started doing these free readings monthly back <a href="https://www.traciyork.com/ww-tarot-card-reading/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">in November 2015</a>, then switched to every week almost a year later <a href="https://www.traciyork.com/tt-september-6th-free-tarot-card-reading/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">in September 2016</a>. They're by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today's reading is for the week of June 22nd 2021.

I mentioned last week that I'd been able to see my mother in person for the first time since March 2020, and a short time after her surgery. Since that time, I was able to stay with her for a few days to help her get settled at her home, and I'm very happy to say she's been making tremendous progress! I know I've probably said it a gazillion times by now, but thank you again to everyone who sent good thoughts in our general direction - I have no doubt they helped! 
 
As for the reading - the setup of how I do these was not my original idea. I was actually inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them (usually posting the card backs first, then the messages at a later time), here's a quick breakdown on how this works...

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!

When you've decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Also, don't be worried if you don't happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. &#x1f60a;

Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don't see the picture of the front of the cards before you've made your choice, I usually put some of my infographics here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. However, I had a great response to my changing things up last week and using some of my photos instead of infographics, so I decided to do it again! Since the Full Strawberry Moon will be here on Thursday (June 24th), I thought I'd share some of the snaps I got of it back in June 2018.

<h3>1. Queen of Cups</h3>
<strong>Trust your intuition.</strong> Time to listen to your heart, and not your head. Sit, meditate, and reflect on all aspects of the situation, and try to figure out what makes emotional, if not practical, sense. This might also call for a hefty dose of compassion – sometimes simply being supportive for someone is all they need. Channeling your inner <a href="https://youtu.be/mwMmZ8dtWNM" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Miss Honey</a> and using a listening ear, an open mind, and a bazillion hugs can go a long way towards healing and understanding.

<strong>Tarot Tidbit:</strong> Queen of Cups was last seen a couple of months ago, also in the first position, on <a href="https://www.traciyork.com/tarot-tuesday-reading-for-the-week-of-april-13th-2021/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">April 13th, 2021</a>.

 

<h3>2. The Fool </h3>
<strong>Take that step! </strong> You have the chance to start down a new road, full of possibilities. Don't second guess yourself - trust where this path is taking you, and make that leap! While you've been worrying that you're not ready, and you still have to gather your things, just look - you're already carrying everything you need with you. One word of caution - make sure you watch where you're going. If you get caught up in the excitement, and start daydreaming while staring at the clouds, you may find yourself stepping off a cliff. Simply pay attention to your surroundings, <a href="https://youtu.be/OORsz2d1H7s" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">put one foot in front of the other</a>, and your journey will be magical. 

<strong>Tarot Tidbit:</strong> The Fool hasn't been seen in almost exactly a year! The last time, it was also in the second position, back on <a href="https://www.traciyork.com/tarot-tuesday-reading-for-the-week-of-june-16th-2020/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">June 16th, 2020</a>.

 

<h3>3. Justice </h3>
<strong>Time for some balance. </strong> You’re out of whack. You’re spending too much time on one side of the scale – lots of thinking, but little doing; focusing on spiritual, but not physical; loads of time for work but nothing for play. It’s time to bring things back into balance. It might not be easy to take action, get exercising, say "no" or pass up some overtime – however it is what’s needed. Try to <a href="https://youtu.be/zfiISFiozg8" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">get the balance right</a>.
