Traveling the World #194 - South Melbourne Markets @ Melbourne | Travelgirl 旅遊推介 - 南墨爾本市場
Hi Everyone/ 大家好,

One of the highlights during our visit to Melbourne was going to South Melbourne Markets. I love markets and this one has been recommended my our friends to go first thing when we arrive. It has a great carpark, undercover and lots of food to try out. Of course there are things to buy but we were really there to shop so mainly for the food and drinks. A popular stop for locals and tourists, the markets are opened on certain days so be sure to check out the opening times on their website. 

> 去墨爾本其中最令我最難忘其中一個地方就是南墨爾本市場。我朋友知道我喜歡逛這類的市場就建議我去這個看看. 這裡有一個非常好的停車場，市場是室內的還有很多東西可以吃和喝. 當然這裡其實有好多東西買但今次我的目標是食和喝. 這個市場很受當地人和遊客歡迎所以去的時候要注意什麼時候會開.

If you see the map below, there are lots to explorer here. Keeping in mind, it is mostly undercover, you can take your time browsing around or enjoy a nice meal at one of the restaurants. We personally visited here 3 times during our stay in Melbourne as our apartment was only 5 minutes drive. I love the fact the market is so clean you feel nice walking around the place. Even though it was summer when we visited early this year, it was not too stuffy even though we were inside. An easy fix would be getting a nice cold drink while you browse around.

There are things ranging from clothing to second hand books for sale. Lots of handmade items for those who like to support local designers. The one thing is here is I don’t see people bargaining as the prices are set and is not negotiable.

> 這個市場有好多東西買例如衣服，鞋子，二手書等等. 還有很多手工藝店可以支持一些當地藝術家. 有一點要注意就是我好像沒有看到人跟店主講價因為所有的東西都看見都有表明價錢，明碼實價.

If shopping isn’t your thing, check out some of the food stores there. Lots of fresh produce as well as ready made food. The seafood and deli area is amazing. We also bought some nice bread from the bakeries there which was pretty nice. I love the egg shop where they sold all different sort of eggs. There was this organic meat store which sold meat at expensive prices but you could tell they are of high end quality, they literally only had a few pieces out of each kind. There is sure something for everyone so do check this market out when you are in Melbourne. 

> 如果不想購物就可以看吃的商店. 這裡有好多海鮮，不同類型的火腿店，水果，蔬菜等等. 還有要找一些麵包店，他們做的麵包特別香. 我好喜歡一家專賣雞蛋的店，好多類型可以讓你慢慢揀. 還有一家買好貴的肉，我們可以看見他們的肉特別厚，新鮮但價錢真的太貴. 其實這個市場真的什麼都有，如果你在墨爾本，一定要來南墨爾本市場看看.
