Here's an update on my solar ideas. I drew a design of a simple roof-structure that could provide a surface for many solar-panels. I decided that it would be better if it were hinged so that the angle of the roof could match the sun rays.

A small room would be built to hold a computer system.
I really want to never convert the electricity except straight from direct solar to the DC the computer uses. This would be so cool but kind of technical.
During very cold days, ducts form outside could help lower the temperature. Building the room part underground could keep tempatures cooler or warm enough. Insulation may help keep out heat too.
A small patio could be build under the roof, providing a nice area for out-door tables, etc facing away from the sun.
I'm looking into ideas for building appropriate supercomputing, especially for GPU mining with minamum electricity.
I think this is a cool idea, but I may not have the time, expertise or financial justification right now, so I've just done preliminary thoughts.
Let me know what you think. Is this financially worth while?
