Remember Flappy Bird? The extremely popular mobile game from 2013 (iOS) and 2014 (Android)? It took the mobile gaming world by storm with its simplicity as well as challenging gameplay. For some it was an addiction, for others it was a money making opportunity, then there were people like me that simply did not understand all the craze over this game. Well, if you thought you were done with Flappy Bird, get ready to prove your abilities with the LCD version by Bobby V. Klein.

Maybe Tiger Electronics would be jealous as this Flappy Bird demake because, well, honestly it has some gameplay and challenge. I know, not ALL Tiger Electronics offerings were complete trash but probably 99.999999% of them were not worth the money. 

Back to Flappy Bird LCD.

Playing Flappy Bird LCD on a computer only requires you to press the space bar to start and to flap your wings. Gameplay is the same as the classic casual game you remember, avoid the pipes and keep advancing. 

Simple.

Something Tiger Electronics had a problem doing was making LCD games fun. Sure, they were great distractions on road trips. Great for hiding around your bedroom for those times you were grounded from your Nintendo Entertainment System, etc. 

To say they were the first choice of any gamer with any other option to play the games on the package is just a lie.

LCD games will never be amazing or graphical powerhouses but Flappy Bird LCD proves that the right genre can work perfectly fine in the confines. Iti s a simple game, simple graphics, and ultimately, it is fun. Well, as fun as the original was so if you got hooked on that, you might want to actually skip this LCD demake.
