They seek abundance, 
hidden amongst the shreds of disinformation,
this disillusionment, held within their palms, 
crushed by the weight of their reality,
the screams that pierce the sky,
as whole mountains vanish, in the blink of an eye.

confusion,

cracks begin to appear, 
as their shields are lowered to the ground, 
the fear, that weaved it's way into their existence, 
now lay bare 
and finally understanding,
the strength to push on through,
to expose the fragility of these mindsets,
that seek to disempower and disconnect.
Swarms of heightened awareness
converge within, 
and our realm of inner knowing,
creeps like ants upon our skin.

<i>It fascinates me, how we can all be so different, the way in which our brains work, how we process, how we decipher. We are all of this earth and through our experiences, we get to sail these seas of life, that can be so treacherous one minute and so calm the next.</i> 

All of us, seeking to succeed in our own way. Whatever our idea of success may be. All of us wanting to be seen and acknowledged in some form or another, for a moment, for a life time. All so different and yet so fundamentally the same. 

So what leads to the divide, to the disconnect. To this ability to cut yourself off, from certain aspects of life. We can see, who certain things in life can bring joy and yet we hesitate, too fearfully to try, or perhaps it is our pride holding us back. Because we do not want to be seen as needy, or as being wrong. 

Why this desire to always be right, when making mistakes, is, in itself a gift, an opportunity to learn and transform, to create. And yet we shy away, consumed by emotions, by self doubt, by all this conditioning that has been drilled into our heads. 

Because we can only be this way or that, there is no room for any other, so we try so desperately to put ourselves in these boxes, that have been created. Boxes that crush our ambitions and bury and dreams. Because otherwise, we are outcasts or  disappointments and all we want to do is to fit in, to belong!

Where did it all go wrong, who was the first person to put these ideas into the minds of humankind, who is responsible for all this damage. Oh the power of planting a seed. The sheer force, that it unleashes. The power of thought, is really a reflection of the power we harness within and yet we shy away from it. Instead, we lean in towards the influence of others and fill our minds with their desires and expectations of us.  

And we find ourselves drowning in their world, in their reality, trying so hard to keep our head above water. Until, that moment we catch a glimpse of the light that resides within us and the warmth than radiates out, when we focus on it. 

<b>That is all that it takes, a glance, a moment to see who we really are. A moment to stand in our own power, then there is no going back!</b>
