I consider myself very fortunate, to be part of a sister circle.  A wonderful gathering that happens once a month, with some very amazing women. Where we come together and share, create and support one another.

We also have a group on telegram where we check in with one another and by using a certain coloured heart, we can say how we are feeling and if we would like someone to come check in on us.

Sometimes it's not always easy to reach out to others, let alone let them know that you are struggling. So finding g ways that allow us to be more vocal, yet not having to push ourselves too much, was important.

Because often, we just need some company, someone to be present and if we want to share we will and if not, then no pressure. Because what's important is expressing our emotions, not necessarily our stories.

I feel very passionate about supporting one another. The women that I gather with, are all mothers as well. And I must say, that as a single mama, I find that really valuable. Raising three girls, can be challenging at times, so having feeling the support of my sisters behind me, is really important to me.

We always begin our gatherings with a check in round, to see how everyone is. Then we get creative. We have painted, made hearts and done some cuntcraft. Each activity, helping us to move out of our heads and instead connect more with our hearts.

Then we open up more, sharing our stories, our wisdom, our raised voices as we sing. Sing and release. Sometimes we bare our souls, sometimes we ŕealise all of our energy needs to go to just one of us.

We do some pampering and then we eat, food that each of us prepared and shared. The food is always amazing, made with so much love, you really can feel it, as you bite into each spoonful.

We have come together to support one another in preserving food, or making decor for different events. It is the coming together, that makes each of us feel, so supported. 

I wasn't always so good at opening up, at letting people in. But now, now I don't know how well I would cope, if I didn't have my support circle. 

In top of that, I have my Biodanza family, that I meet with weekly. That have helped me, to really open up and be more present for others.

It's so important that we support one another. That we continue, to focus on lifting one another up. 

That we continue to share with one another, to encourage each other. We need to move away from this culture, where we distance ourselves from one another and return to a time, where we are making more heart felt connections, with one another.

Where we really see one another and support one another.
