<center>*Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live on a houseboat?  I have...….especially as I have spent much of my life near the sea or rivers or estuaries.*</center> 

<center>*These house boats (below)are situated at The Spit, in  Southport on the Gold Coast and as I took these images, I wondered if people were living in them full time or were they used as holiday vessels when convenient?*</center>

These are very neat!! Very different from those narrow long canal boats in the UK.  These are like actual houses with lots of room! But, this would be rather too light for our monsoon storms!!

They are like actual houses floating in water. I wouldn't like to venture out into open seas in them. These are mainly designed for rivers and lakes. There are different areas in Australia where they can be rented out by tourists and holiday makers.

Yeah I always want to live in these boats. It feels amazing to spend time there. I often used to see some video about life in a boat in the internet. Yes I want to experience the feeling but it's not the time I guess. Ofcourse to try in the future. Great post @trudeehunter
