Hey, since there has been recently a boom (for our Hive standards) of big game projects starting out, I decided to those that are on my radar into a single post and give my thoughts on these upcoming gaming projects. 
I'm sorry if I missed any awesome game projects.

I'm super excited for all of these games coming to life or growing. I'm already having nightmares about not having enough time in a full 24 hour day to play all these exciting games alongside my personal life, but I find it a rather good problem to have :)

### **The game**

Holozing is a roleplaying adventure game for both casual and competetive players. The description of catching creatures and training healers to keep them alive and strong while allowing you to find and collect items, reminds me a lot of Pokemon, which I hear they have taken inspiration from. As a true web3 game they also give players access to true ownership to their creatures and items they catch/collect.
The creatures will have stats like Attack, Agility, Defence, Healthpoints and various abilites, in addition to being super cute. There are also currently 4 elements possible for the creatures, which are Electric, Grass, Water & Fire.

On their website they have a leaderboard for most $ZING earned individuals. That Leaderboard currently has over 1,100 users in it.

Holozing is offering right now bonus $ZING tokens for contributors throughout the month of December for people who claim their earnings daily. (There are still 11 days left of this bonus)

Currently the only thing we can do in holozing is contribute to the project to earn $ZING tokens in return. There are a few different ways to contribute, all of which you can find on their [Rewards page](https://holozing.com/rewards). You can also look around their website to get familiar with some of the creatures and themes behind this upcoming game as well as read their whitepaper to know exactly what's coming and when.
As the project is super early and there isn't much to do on the website, most of the action happens in their [Discord server](https://discord.gg/Dw6XuGgdNr), which I advise you to join if you're interested in the future of Holozing.

### **My goals for Holozing**

At the moment I'm almost at 2,5k $ZING staked with around 1000 HP Delegated to the project. I also have 1000 $ZING / 13 HIVE in their rewarded liquidity pool. That puts me barely in the top 300 contributors. I'm also very proud of my achievement of not missing a single day of Bonus claims so far.

I really want to reach 10k $ZING staked before any actual gameplay goes live and alongside that I would love to have 2.5k $ZING in the Liquidity pool. We don't know yet the price of packs I'm pretty sure, but I will definitely want a couple healers and as many creatures as I can get from the first edition of packs.

They have a Roadmap just for the Beta. Looking really promising and they have so far delivered on time consistently. So judging by that there should be actual gameplay available on the Beta site in 1-2 days.

### **The game**

The game is about running a game development studio where you will take on a sitting game studio and go on a journey to create amazing games.
In the game you will assemble a talented team of NFT developers and designers to bring your games to life, as workers gain experience you will unlock unique traits that will help improve your gaming studio. It's also said that the beings in the "Pixelverse" may look human, but they also carry some alien capabilities.
Every game your studio works on, will be unique and come to life by the power of your directional prowess and the ability of your team to execute. With your chosen dev team you will have to choose where to spend your resources (Game engine, graphics, dialogue, etc.).
The in-game world evolves in real time, adapting to player choices and market trends. Game ratings and reviews are dynamically generated based on in-game dynamics and assisted by A.I.
As your games gain popularity and the ingame currency of $PXL starts to flow, you will get to expand your game studio empire to incredible hights.
This game is powered by the Hive Blockchain and is a Web3 game, which means the ingame currency of $PXL will be tradeable amongst other players and the NFTs you buy/receive will be tradeable also.

The open Beta already allows us to get our hands on the gaming features and to open our packs to "simulate" our possible luck for the real game. In the current Beta release nothing you do will influence your real game assets or progress. As of now their pack sale is live where we can already buy our starter pack ($8) and the first edition packs what are called "8-Bit packs" (3$ each). There are only 30,000 "8-Bit" packs total for sale and only 25,000 are remaining as of writing this post.


# My goals for Rise of the Pixels

I have already bought a starter pack and 5 "8-Bit" packs for myself. I have learnt a lot about the game from the Beta testing and from the discord server and so far I have really liked it. 30,000 packs is not that much for 3$ each and if this game gains traction, this edition will definitely be very sought after in the future.

We don't know yet how the tokenomics are going to play out once everything is live, but I'm hoping to not have to buy any extra PXL coins and I could just earn them through the game. I'm currently happy with my 5 "8-Bit" packs, but I will decide after the next Beta update if I want to go for 10 packs or not. The biggest investment I intend to put into this game is **Time**. The whole Pixelverse they have created with great lore and visuals sounds super exciting to me and I can't wait to start exploring and creating games.

### The game

Wrestling Organization Online (Or "WOO" going forwards) is a play2earn business management game, where players can build their organization by collecting wrestlers, upgrading facilities and competing each other to earn the game's governance token $WOO.
In this game, every player will create and manage a traveling wrestling organization. As the player grows their roster of wrestlers and the business overall, there will be also an option to choose your location to use as a base. After choosing a base location, the player can start his company and upgrade it to his liking.
Players can buy, sell, lease and borrow wrestler NFT's from and to other players. The wrestler NFT's can also unlock new abilities and grow in skill by being levelled up either through experience or combining NFT's.
There are 4 types of wrestler NFT's, Male, female, Tag team & Managers.

WOO has been around for many years now on the Hive blockchain, with over 1/6 of their $WOO token already in circulation and with card packs sold out already as well as lands over halfway sold out.
The PVP aspect of the game just recently went live (without rewards for now, those will come soon). Also there are lands which can be upgraded and your organization which can also be upgraded and Wrestler cards that you can combine to level up and much more.
There is already a lot to do in the game and it might be a bit too much to take in if you are hearing just now about the game. The best way to start out is by joining their discord and asking about anything that confuses you, they are really friendly there and will get you an answer quite quickly.

# My goals for WOO

I'm currently delegating 300 HP to the project to earn $WOO tokens and I have collected so far 173k tokens, which I'm also staking. In addition to that I have 3 Land plots in the game and a bit over 300 Wrestler cards.

The gameplay just recently went live and so far I had much fun playing it even without any rewards. From that I realized that my cards are way too weak to be competetive, so I will definitely look into buying more cards in the near future. 
The total cap for $WOO is 3 Billion tokens and because of that I would love to eventually reach 300K tokens staked. 
I'm also not completely sure yet if I want to stick with my 3 land plots, or If I want to get up to 5 land plots, I guess I will wait and see how the game develops.

### The Game

I'm sure most of you already know about Splinterlands and after having played it myself for over 5 years, it's really hard to describe the game, but I will try my best.

Splinterlands is mainly a fast based card battle game, where you will need to choose your Summoners to summon Monsters on the battlefield for you to beat your opponent. There are six different splinters (Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death & Dragon) to choose Summoners and Monsters from and then there are seven stats (Melee, Magic, Ranged, Health, Speed, Armor & Mana cost) on the cards to choose from with lots of different abilities on top of all of that. Your goal is to best your opponent by having your monsters be the last ones standing after the battle. From battling you can receive daily and seasonal rewards in many different shapes and sizes for your efforts.
Land gameplay currently consists of putting your monsters or summoners to work on your land plots in order to earn from 3 different buildings (Grain, Research & SPS).

Splinterlands has been around for a while and as I mentioned previously, I myself have already been playing this masterpiece for way over 5 years already.
After such a long development time for the game and with a big and supportive community, there are seemingly endless ways to enjoy this game. There are Tournaments, Guild battles, Ranked leaderboards, Lands, Packs, Reward chests & more.
The native token $SPS is the heart of the ecosystem and $DEC is a pegged currency for the game. The cards in the game form a roughly 50 Million dollar marketcap as of writing this post.

# My goals for Splinterlands

I have over 36k staked $SPS and almost 6000 Cards in the game already as well as 4 land plots. I'm playing ranked games daily to earn reward chests and I participate in Guild battles to earn SPS and Gladiator cards. My 4 land plots have workers earning me Grain too.

My goals are to eventually reach 100k $SPS staked. I have quite a long way to go still, but I have been here for 5 years and I expect to be here for the next 5 too, so I got time.
I'm looking to slowly but surely gather some missing Chaos Legion cards for my collection as well as start off getting some key rebellion cards to not be left behind in the competition.
Eventually having 10 land plots would be my ultimate dream, but as the prices rise it could prove to be more difficult than I'm hoping it to be at the moment.
