Puff Pastry Buns Recipe | Milföy Hamurundan Börek [ING - TR ]

I don't know why today, but I feel so tired. So I couldn't do much of a job. I didn't want to get out of bed all day. I had to do something to wake up, and I opened the fridge directly. I found the frozen dough I bought recently. When I was saying what can I do, I found myself making donuts. I don't know if any of you like donuts, but I love them very much. I usually do salty ones but today I wanted to make a change. Since I was feeling tired, I wanted to prepare it with chocolate to give energy and release the hormone of happiness. 

**How about preparing the donuts together?**

I bought the dough from the market as it was difficult to make. If you wish, you can also prepare it at home. First, let me briefly explain how my mother prepares the puff pastry.


How to Make Puff Pastry?

**300 g flour
30 g margarine, diced
200 g margarine, (soft)
150 ml cold water
1/2 tablespoon of salt
Stretch film
Roller
Greaseproof paper**

**How to Make**

Sift the flour in a bowl, then add the salt and mix.

Add the margarine you chopped into cubes and grind it into sand.

Add the cold water little by little and mix.

After it becomes a dough, stretch it and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Roll the dough into a rectangular shape with a rolling pin on a floured bench.

Place margarine at room temperature between oily paper and thin 2 cm thick with a roller.

 Place this margarine in the middle of the dough that you rolled in a rectangular shape and close the edges of the dough first.

Close the dough from the edges and roll it out in a rectangular shape of 20 cm wide and 55 cm long with the help of a roller without pressing too much.

Close the dough from the bottom and top and clean it with a brush if there is any flour left on it.

Turn the folded side to your right.

After opening it again in the same way and giving the shape of a rectangle, stretch it and rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.


After repeating this process 3 times, you can open the dough with a roller and cut it in any size you want.

**Merhabalar.**

Bugün neden bilmiyorum ama kendimi çok yorgun hissediyorum. Bu yüzden pek fazla bir iş yapamadım. Bütün gün yataktan çıkmak istemedim. Kendime gelmek için bir şeyler yapmam gerekiyordu ve ben de doğrudan buz dolabını açtım. Geçenlerde aldığım donmuş hamuru buldum. Ne yapabilirim derken kendimi çörek yaparken buldum. Aranız da çörek seven var mı bilmiyorum ama ben çok seviyorum. Genelde tuzlu olanlarını yapardım ama bugün bir değişiklik yapmak istedim. Kendimi yorgun hissettiğim için enerji vermesi ve mutluluk hormonu salgılaması için çikolata ile hazırlamak istedim.

I took the dough out of the freezer to soften. I kept it like this for about 1 hour.

We apply chocolate randomly to the rectangular dough. This is my first time trying with chocolate this way. I'm looking forward to what the result will be and what it will taste like. After applying the chocolate, we wrap it in a roll.

Dikdörtgen şeklindeki hamura gelişigüzel çikolata sürüyoruz. Bu şekilde çikolata ile ilk defa deniyorum. Sonucun ne olacağını ve tadı nasıl olacağını merakla bekliyorum.
Çikolatayı sürdükten sonra rulo halinde sarıyoruz.

Then we divide the dough in half to shape it. You have to be a little gentle here. Cut it gently.

We fill the dough like twist braids. The chocolate part should always be facing upwards. Then circle it.

Instead of cheese, you can also make mashed potatoes. If you want another dessert instead of chocolate, you can apply jam. This depends entirely on your taste. My mother loves cheese so we chose cheese.

Peynirli yerine dilerseniz patates pürelide yapabilirsiniz. Çikolata yerine başka tatlı istiyorsanız reçel sürebilirsiniz. Bu tamamen sizin damak tadınıza göre değişir. Annem peyniri çok seviyor bu yüzden peynir tercih ettik.

I heated the oven to 200 degrees. Then I placed the trays in the oven. In less than 20 minutes the buns were cooked.

Fırını 200 dereceye getirip ısıttım. Ardından tepsileri fırına yerleştirdim. 20 dakikadan kısa bir sürede çörekler pişti.
