We are at Penang and have come across traffic congestion, which is quite common in the developing cities. Traffic congestion can be frustrating as time is wasted on the road. However, the time of traffic congestion can be handled to minimise negative outcome. Instead, the time can even be utilised fruitfully. 

First, we must always have sufficient gasoline inside our tank. If we are caught in a traffic congestion and find that the tank is about to be empty, we can be anxious for fear of running out of gasoline. 

Secondly, we can always have some water and finger food inside the car. In case the jam is too long, we can sustain our weary bodies with water and food. 

Thirdly, we can have some good music or talks to listen during the traffic congestion so that it is a learning and relaxing time rather than just wasting our time. 

Fourthly, we may think or reflect on something helpful during the jam for the good of ourselves and others. 

Most people don’t like traffic congestion. As it is unavoidable at time, we need to ready ourselves to utilise the congested time on the road for some fruitful outcome. 

这次在槟城，我们碰到了交通拥堵；其实在发展中的城市这是颇为普遍的情形。对于面对拥堵的一些车上人士，这是令人沮丧的事情。然而我们是可以处理拥堵的时间以尽量减少负面结果 ；甚至还可能带来正面果效。

首先，我们要保持油箱内始终有足够的汽油。如果我们遇到交通拥堵并发现油快不夠用，我们極可能会因担心汽油耗尽而焦虑。

其次，我们要在车内放一些水和小吃，如果堵车时间太长，我们可以用水和食物维持疲惫的身体。

第三，我们可以在交通拥堵时间为自己提供一些好听的音乐或讲座，这样可以学习或放松自己，而不至于只是浪费时间。

第四，为了我们自己和他人的利益，我们也可以在车上思想或反思一些有益的事情。

大多数人都不喜欢交通堵塞。由于这常常是不可避免的事情，所以我们需要做好准备，懂得利用路上的拥挤时间取得一些丰硕成果。
