Since Hive Blockchain is a crypto ecosystem then a foul play like scam, fraud and phishing link can not be excluded but it is left to us to know what to click on and keep our security very tight.

This post is specifically directed to the newbies who are new to the Hive Blockchain because the lions are already aware of it. Hive Blockchain can change ones life to better especially in the financial aspect and knowledge acquisition but we should all be aware that dangers always loom around where there is progress.

The #leofinance community have been embarking on the journey to make sure things are easier for the hive Blockchain, #leofinance community and it's members and example of that is the launching of the LeoMobile V1 app, LPUD Leo power up day which will be taken place every 15th of the month, onboarding new lions to the platform, rewarding people through engagement and contest and so much more to make sure this platform continue growing.

But are you aware that a little leak can sink a ship. Just like a single click can make things better or worse for one on the platform. A single click can really make one lost access to ones account and all the token in it just by clicking phishing link set as trap by scammer. They used this Link to lure one in to the trap  with a great offers which you can't get.

Sometimes, I thought that is it greediness that makes one click such Link because of the offers attached to it but at the same time what if one doesn't really no about it before, especially those who are new to the hive Blockchain and that's what really brings about this post.

I received a comment on one of my post lately offering a high rewards in return, but I surely know that it's a trap. Once bitten twice shy, exactly around this month last year I followed this type of link and I lost the access to my account for some days before I could retrieve it back. Even though all my hive tokens and HBD has been vandalized but still I was happy to retrieve my account back because I knew that it is not easy to start from scratch again and a big thanks to @flaxz and @cardboard who helped me out.

And after some hours @arcange notified me that the comment is a scam that I should be careful.

As newbies, you should watch out and avoid clicking unnecessary links, don't be a numb as I am sharing this from my own experience. My first three months on the hive Blockchain was like a hell to me as of that time when I click the phishing link but I am where I am today because of the courage to continue and never give up and also I really appreciate the support I received and still receiving from those wonderful and amazing people I met here on the Blockchain. Don't be a numb and know what to click on. Learn from my own mistake and avoid falling victim.
