This s a piece I wrote in 2018 and decided to reshare today - Enjoy! 


<h5> Dream of Sheep </h5> 

Sleepy lazy me. 
Cocooning in rays,
 falling from broken pane. 
Cloud coloured sheep jump though the celestial display, 
 under fluttering lids to heavy to greet the day. 

Cotton candy sky with spots of lemon,
 wrap up the final hours.
Remorseless I shift position,
sinking deeper in the stream. 
Dreams taste like watermelon,
 supple and inviting. 
Mock me you may,
 it shall not move me from the indolent planes of slothfulness. 

Slander me as lackadaisical,
but unenthusiastic I am not.
I rejoice in morpheus embrace,
am eager acolyte. 
Doze amongst flocks of fog born lambs,
 as stars sing me to my sleep.
