@uchenna.lucy My journey into motherhood started early owing to the fact that some fathers don't care about the girl child education and I was a victim  There and then I got into early marriage .Then within one year into this journey came pregnancy. At the early stage of the pregnancy it was vomiting and not being able to eat well and I have to dislike some food,it took time to stop. As the pregnancy continued to progress the time for antenatal came up which is a must for me .I then started going to the hospital for me to see the doctor and the nurses were not left out 🙏 during those times The drugs from the hospital were are not joked with . When the time was getting close I was told to be getting baby things ready 🥼🧥 somethings like dress unisex dress shirt shoes baby powder soap and oil , it was baby napkins that were in Vogue as of the time The napkins must be well washed to be able to retain it's white color that is the  job that must be done when the time comes 🙏 And the antenatal check continued as the delivery date is getting closer my husband and I then discussed the easy way to get helping hand for the arrival of our new baby and so I had to go and stay with my mother who was more experienced in this motherhood journey until the day of delivery 🛀😁 When the day of delivery finally came with GOD on my side a bouncing baby boy was delivered to the glory of God .The next step into this journey afterwards was breastfeeding.Yes breastfeeding is very important since that is the only food for the baby for about four to six months before taking semi solid food.🙏😁 During this period of delivery and breastfeeding the mother of the new born baby is being given a special treatment by her mother .I was given this special treatment known as ineomugwo.in this aspect I wasn't allowed to do any work,my mother had to do the cooking ,bath the new baby and see that i had to take my bath . The inneomugwo  which is in our native language  taking care of the mother of the new baby and the new baby too . My husband came to see me and the baby boy and he also enjoyed the special food being prepared for me that is how it is done, I started to do some work after two months as this will help me to get fit before going back to my station, my mother was well appreciated by my husband for this kind gesture wrapper, handbag  ,headtie , blouse shoe food items and Cash were given to my mother . Time to get back to my  house and my station, my husband came back after three months and we had to go back, when we came back,I had to start from where my mother stopped, cooking, bathing the new baby and bathing myself  washing of clothes and other 🏠 household chores.  Then when the baby disturbs so much I have to put on my back and then use wrapper to hold him to enable me do things faster, if is time for him to sleep after well fed ,I have to put him on the bed with  his stomach on the bed and I will be there singing lullabies for him to sleep,🛌 and it works, When the motherhood continued I now have to sit him on the mat and time to crawl, stand up to walk, to eat on his own, to play with toys, to talk  I was always 💜 with him as his best friend and a loving mother and not allowing him to hurt himself 🙏 then he will grow up to 👦a good looking and lovely and God-fearing somebody in the society 🙏
