Hello Steemit & Dlive! Today, I'm creating a discord bot...or fumbling through the creation of one xD.

I've created discord bots in the past and I don't think it's that difficult of a task, however I've yet to connect a discord bot to Steemit in any way, which is our goal for the night. Short, simple, sweet. 

In order to finally fullfill my goal, I'll be creating everything on a virtual machine running Linux. All of my previous discord bots have run on Windows and I believe this will hold me back when trying to connect features of the bot with actions on Steemit.
<center><h2>The Process</h2></center>
First| I'll create a simple discord bot.

Second|I'll add a few commands to the bot and test them out.
Third|I'll try and connect the bot to Steemit using @mahdiyari's [tutorial](https://steemit.com/dev/@mahdiyari/complete-guide-to-creating-discord-auto-upvote-bot-by-javascript), which uses a mysql database.


I should mention that I've attempted this tutorial a good  5 or 6 times in the past and something always stops my progress, which leads me down a rabbit-hole of learning this or that about code in general. Well, today, hopefully I'll be able to put it all together.
