Cool & Consistent
"He's so cool, so different."
He's Mr Consistent,
a fact, he's one of the boys.
Here's one for consistence!
That bedrock be rocked!
"Consistence..consistence,"
she moaned, he cocked.
"So standoff, so distant, and still
soo...consistent."
She thought to herself,
that night bedrock had split.
A night so peculiarly fair...
He thought, "who am I kidding.
They're all one and the same."
"Not one of them's different.
They're just soo...consistent,"
and left just as fast as he came.

Word Vomit
So, this poem is very indirect, by every meaning of the word. I wanted to write something that talks about sexual relationships and how two people can come together, looking for the same things: sex, love, companionship. But what they find is that the other is the same ole same ole. One member of this encounter (the she) is looking for the same thing, while the other (the he) is looking for something different, but finds it to be just like the rest, common, consistent.
The same word, consistent is used by each character, but with a different thought in mind as to what it means to be consistent.
