Here's a throwback picture. Macy's Parade in 2015. It's not too late for Thanksgiving pics, right? :)




This was my first time at the parade. We got up early and headed into an vacant NYC...or so it seemed. The closer we got to the parade route we began to notice the lines of people behind barricades. No one knew the exact route of the parade it seemed, so there wasn't exactly fighting over spots.

I got my best shot of the day as we began to walk the city, the biggest part of the parade having already passed us. As my sister and I made our way to McDonald's, the parade cut right past us once more, but this time it was slightly different. This was just past the finish-line. All the musicians and artists were relaxed and laughing, thankful to have been part of the parade, and thankful to be done marching I'm sure. I was thankful for this shot.
