My best friend asked to talk about his relationship, and I gave him what I believe to be the wisest advice I've heard in the last few months.

It was an ordinary day. I was off chasing my dreams in the dungeon that I call <i>The Rabbit Hole</i>, when I got a ping from discord. My buddy wanted to talk about something, and it's fairly common knowledge in my relationships with people that, I will always make an effort to be available for my friends. So, when I got a ping, I checked in, and when it was from my best friend, requesting to talk, if I was around...well, my friend, I'm always around...unless I'm on a mountain. 

We opened up a discord voice channel and began the manliest of talks. There wasn't beer or whiskey to be had, but there was a trust of knowledge flowing. After a light rabble and rant of about 10 minutes or so (a long time for men folk), it became obvious that sincerity and empathy were in an upward trend. We were in the green,  but as you may know, the market can be volatile. 

Time was winding down on our conversation (women approaching) and we were about ready to close. This conversation had to end in profit. My best friend said "well, that's all of it, what do you think?", to which I  gave a moment or two. It was a lot of information, and I'm no expert in the workings of relationships or their quirks, so I took a moment. Then, I responded with some of the wisest advice I've come to know. Something I was sure he would understand. Something direct, something that required focus, something -- manly.

The transfer was complete, immediately, his head swung backward and he burst into laughter, at my response. Then, he repeated it, 'hodl, I like that'.
