Faz pouco tempo que comecei a utilizar o elemento de **Morte** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/7/76/Splinter-death.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210212223936 nas minhas partidas de **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=ukyron3)**, e quanto mais fui utilizando, mais apego fui tendo com esse elemento.

A possibilidade de minar todas as forças inimigas com vários debuffs é muito divertida, mas o que mais gostei foram algumas unidades extremamente poderosas que estão disponíveis aqui, e uma dessas unidades é a protagonista do **[Share Your Battle](https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@splinterlands/share-your-battle-weekly-challenge-soulstrangler)** dessa semana e eu adoraria falar mais sobre ela. I recently started using the **Death** element https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/7/76/Splinter-death.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210212223936 in my games of **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=ukyron3)**, and the more I used it, the more I got attached to this element.

The possibility of undermining all enemy forces with various debuffs is a lot of fun, but what I liked the most were some extremely powerful units that are available here, and one of those units is the protagonist of **[Share Your Battle](https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@splinterlands/share-your-battle-weekly-challenge-soulstrangler)** this week and I would love to talk more about it. Here's a post covering the battles of **[Soul Strangler](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Soul%20Strangler_lv1.png)** and all his strength!

Esta unidade é totalmente focada em status ofensivo. Apesar de não possuir velocidade ou vida tão altos, o fato de custar apenas 3 de mana e oferecer 2~4 de dano *(quanto maior o level melhor ela se torna)* é muito poderoso. Apenas em seu último nível o Soul Strangler recebe uma habilidade que potencializa ainda mais sua ofensividade.

This unit is fully focused on offensive status. Despite not having such high speed or health, the fact that it only costs 3 mana and offers 2~4 damage *(the higher the level the better it becomes)* is very powerful. Only at its last level does the Soul Strangler receive an ability that further enhances its offensiveness.

Utilizá-lo em alguma dessas regras vai aumentar ainda mais a efetividade da carta, mas mesmo que elas não estejam presentes ainda é possível considerá-lo em suas composições, principalmente naquelas de baixa mana disponível.

Using it in any of these rules will increase the effectiveness of the card even more, but even if they are not present, it is still possible to consider it in your compositions, especially those with low available mana.

Escolhi essa partida para mostrar que mesmo quando a mana disponível é muito alta nós ainda podemos utilizar o Soul Strangler na composição. Em uma partida onde não há unidades físicas *(ignore o invocador pois era a minha única opção lvl.5)* resolvi montar uma frontline robusta contra unidades mágicas com o **[Prismatic Energy](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Prismatic%20Energy_lv5.png)** por conta das habilidades **Void** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_void.png e **Magic Reflect** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_magic-reflect.png. Como segundo tank escolhi a **[Gelatinous Cube](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Gelatinous%20Cube_lv6.png)** que possui uma alta vida que escala conforme as unidades morrem com a habilidade **Scavenger** https://i.imgur.com/p2OuPAn.png e ainda possui **Heal** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_heal.png.

Visando oferecer suporte optei pelas unidades **[Phantom Soldier](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Phantom%20Soldier_lv3.png)** que reduz dano mágico com o **Silence** https://i.imgur.com/kxkTXqq.png e também o **[Spirit Miner](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Spirit%20Miner_lv3.png)** que possui um combo de buffs e debuffs. E o gran finale, os responsáveis por devastar os inimigos, os nossos queridos DPS!

As duas unidades são arqueiras pois existem menos counters para eles, a primeira é o próprio **[Soul Strangler](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Soul%20Strangler_lv6.png)** que encaixou perfeitamente na contagem de mana e consegue executar perfeitamente a sua função de causar dano. A outra opção escolhida foi a **[Octopider](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Octopider_lv3.png)** que poderia segurar algum dano se viesse um mago ou arqueiro com Sneak e também ferir bastante os adversários.

I chose this match to show that even when the available mana is very high we can still use the Soul Strangler in the comp. In a game where there are no physical units *(ignore the summoner as it was my only option lvl.5)* I decided to build a robust frontline against magic units with **[Prismatic Energy](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Prismatic%20Energy_lv5.png)** due to **Void** abilities https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_void.png and **Magic Reflect** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_magic-reflect.png. As the second tank I chose the **[Gelatinous Cube](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Gelatinous%20Cube_lv6.png)** which has a high health that scales as units die with the skill **Scavenger** https://i.imgur.com/p2OuPAn.png and even has **Heal** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_heal.png.

In order to support I chose the units **[Phantom Soldier](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Phantom%20Soldier_lv3.png)** which reduces magic damage with **Silence** https://i.imgur.com/kxkTXqq.png and also the **[Spirit Miner](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Spirit%20Miner_lv3.png)** which has a combo of buffs and debuffs. And the grand finale, those responsible for devastating the enemies, our dear DPS!

Both units are archers because there are less counters for them, the first one is **[Soul Strangler](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Soul%20Strangler_lv6.png)** that fit perfectly in mana count and manages to perfectly perform its damage-dealing function. The other option chosen was the **[Octopider](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Octopider_lv3.png)** which could take some damage if a mage or archer came with Sneak and also hurt a lot opponents.

Ambos montaram composições que focavam apenas na linha de frente, então seria uma corrida para vem quem aguentaria mais golpes e qual time causaria mais dano para eliminar os tanques primeiro. Nessa corrida os meus suportes fizeram toda a diferença pois seus debuffs fizeram as cartas inimigas errarem muitos ataques e causar bem menos dano.

Both built compositions that focused only on the frontline, so it would be a race to the front as to who would take the most hits and which team would do the most damage to take out the tanks first. In this race my supports made all the difference because their debuffs made enemy cards miss many attacks and cause much less damage.

Em uma corrida é claro que aquele que erra mais ficará para trás ao longo do tempo, e foi justamente isso que aconteceu. Enquanto as unidades do meu oponente não causavam dano e erravam seus ataques as minhas unidades estavam bombardeando os tanques inimigos e rapidamente os monstros foram sendo eliminados ao longo dos rounds.

In a race it's clear that the one who makes the most mistakes will be left behind over time, and that's exactly what happened. While my opponent's units did not deal damage and missed their attacks, my units were bombing enemy tanks and quickly the monsters were being eliminated throughout the rounds.

O **Soul Strangler** é uma ótima opção de dano para o elemento de **Morte** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/7/76/Splinter-death.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210212223936 por ter baixo custo de mana, dano elevado e conseguir se encaixar bem tanto em partidas de baixa ou alta mana disponível.
