Hola a todos, bienvenidos.
Hace dos semanas llegó al conservatorio la petición de que el coro del conservatorio se presentase para cantar los himnos y una pequeña muestra cultural en un acto aniversario de una institución gubernamental que ni siquiera conocíamos. El SENAMECF (Servicio Nacional de Medicina y Ciencias Forenses) es una institución del estado que se encarga de la parte forense del país; uno creería que quienes se encargan de los cadáveres serían una parte especial de la policía, pero no, son ellos.

Junto a esta petición, había una petición mucho más curiosa que la existencia de dicha institución, el SENAMECF quería que compusieramos un himno para ellos, y en solo dos semanas!!!.
Nuestro directos aceptó el reto solo por el hecho de que el nombre de la agrupación quedaría en la historia al componer el arreglo de ese himno.


Ahora, en el presente, este miércoles tuvimos la presentación de este pequeño acto en un salón de conferencias en una universidad de la isla. El ambiente era extraño, había mucha gente y demasiado frío. La hora y la ubicación del encuentro era poco accesible para muchos de los coralistas, así que solo fue una parte del coro, solo fuimos los que teníamos disponibilidad del horario.

Musicalmente hablando, fue un desastre, fue muy apresurado componer, aprender y memorizar un himno en 3 ensayos, así que hubo muchos errores en la ejecución de la pieza. Además de que faltaron los coralistas con más experiencia, entonces faltaba dulzura en el canto. Pero nos dieron un lindo diploma al final

Sin embargo, al final del acto, repartieron dulces, bebidas y snacks. Estuvieron muy ricos. Había una delicia de queso crema untable con galletas a la cual hay que hacer mención honorífica ya que estaba muy deliciosa.

Fue una experiencia interesante, gracias por leer hiver, hasta la próxima.

Hello everyone, welcome.
Two weeks ago, the conservatory received a request for the conservatory choir to perform the national anthem and a small cultural presentation at an anniversary event for a government institution that we didn't even know existed. Along with this request, there was a request even more curious than the existence of such an institution: SENAMECF wanted us to compose an anthem for them, and in only two weeks!
Our director accepted the challenge solely because the name of the group would go down in history by composing the arrangement of that anthem.


Now, in the present, this Wednesday we had the presentation of this small act in a conference room at a university on the island. The atmosphere was strange, there were a lot of people and it was too cold. The time and location of the meeting were not very accessible for many of the choir members, so only part of the choir attended, only those of us who were available at that time.

Musically speaking, it was a disaster. It was very rushed to compose, learn, and memorize a hymn in three rehearsals, so there were many mistakes in the performance of the piece. In addition, the more experienced choir members were missing, so the singing lacked sweetness. But they gave us a nice certificate at the end.

However, at the end of the event, they handed out sweets, drinks, and snacks. They were very tasty. There was a delicious cream cheese spread with cookies that deserves an honorable mention because it was so delicious.
