Últimamente la vida ha sido sumamente abrumadora, me encuentro totalmente cansado de casi todo, con mucho desgano. Mi familia se ha enterado de esto, y mis primas se dieron la linda tarea de invitarme a la playa para levantarme el ánimo. Al recibir su llamada con la invitación de ir a la playa, la negué al instante, pues no tenía ganas de ir. Sin embargo, fueron muy insistentes, y mis dos primas vinieron a mi casa a buscarme para llevarme a la playa. A ver, yo tenía excusas para no querer ir, pues no había comido nada en todo el día, no tenía protector solar, y de paso, eran las 12 del mediodía, la hora infernal para ir a la playa debido al sol. Y todos y cada uno de mis peros fueron atendidos con un pan de desayuno, un poco de protector solar que me regalaron, y una gorra que me prestaron para evitar el sol. Después de una caminata totalmente deshidratadora, mi prima mayor aseguró conocer un atajo que los haría llegar más rápido a la playa sin tener que caminar más allá, y así evitar el sol. Para no alargarles demasiado el cuento, el atajo si era funcional; muy poco práctico pero si funcional, pues hay muchas plantas con espinas en él, aparte de que no hay camino hecho y tienes que pisar a tientas. Al llegar a la playa, nos quedamos en un rinconcito alejado de la playa para evitar el sol. Mientras ellas disfrutaban de la vida y jugaban voley, yo me senté a reflexionar acerca de la vida bajo un arbusto extraño que mis conocimientos amplios conocimientos taxonómicos y agrícolas no pudieron identificar (era puro monte). Fue extraño, juraría que pasaron solo 10 o 15 minutos, pero pasó casi una hora y no me di cuenta hasta que las muchachas me invitaran a jugar voley. Jugamos un rato, nos bañamos un rato y cuando ya nos íbamos nos encontramos el cadáver de una hermosa forma de vida como lo es el pez globo. Es una lástima que los peces globos no tengan conciencia y no puedan admirarse y darse cuenta el hermoso producto de la biología y evolución que son. Admiré el cadáver un ratico y después nos fuimos de regreso por el mismo camino. Agradezco la insistencia de mis primas, no me habría sentido mejor lamentandome en mi casa como un niñito de dudosa orientación. Definitivamente, la playa es la solución a todo!! To cut a long story short, the shortcut was functional; very impractical but functional, as there are many thorny plants on it, apart from the fact that there is no path and you have to feel your way. When we got to the beach, we stayed in a little corner away from the beach to avoid the sun. While they enjoyed life and played volleyball, I sat down to reflect on life under a strange bush that my extensive taxonomic and agricultural knowledge could not identify (it was pure scrub). It was strange, I could have sworn that only 10 or 15 minutes had passed, but almost an hour had gone by and I didn't realize it until the girls invited me to play volleyball. We played for a while, swam for a while, and when we were leaving, we found the carcass of a beautiful creature, a puffer fish. It's a shame that puffer fish have no consciousness and cannot admire and realize what a beautiful product of biology and evolution they are. I admired the carcass for a while, and then we headed back the same way we came. I am grateful for my cousins' insistence; I would not have felt better lamenting at home like a child of questionable orientation. The beach is definitely the solution to everything!
