Ontem eu enfrentei uma batalha no **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock "splinterlands")** com apenas 20 mana disponível e nesse confronto eu pude formar uma composição muito sólida utilizando cartas com muitos benefícios e que custam pouca mana. Apesar de muito simples o combo é bastante efetivo e vocês verão isso assistindo o replay.

Como a regra **Equalizer** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/9/95/Combat-rule_equalizer.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210209075101 estava presente eu escolhi o **Exploding Dwarf** para a primeira posição, pois além de causar muito dano, existe a possibilidade de ativar o **Retaliate** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_retaliate.png ao ser atingido. Sua vida foi equilibrada por causa da regra mas para garantir a sobrevivência das minhas cartas eu optei pelo **Tower Griffin** que possui a habilidade **Protect** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_protect.png, distribuindo armadura para todo o time.

A rodada começou com o **Exploding Rats** atacando mas seu dano foi amenizado pela armadura, logo em seguida o Dwarf atacou e abateu seu companheiro *"Exploding"*. O **Flame Monkey** usou o **Repair** https://i.imgur.com/qgoXFmp.png para restaurar a armadura do Dwarf e o **Battering Ram** eliminou a **Furious Chicken** antes que ela pudesse atacar. Sem alternativas o **Serpentine Spy** fez seu ataque contra o Dwarf que revidou com um **Retaliate** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_retaliate.png causando outra morte instantânea e reduzindo também a vida da **Uraeus**.

O fato dele possuir a mesma quantidade de ataque que a vida equalizada nessa partida facilitou bastante e isso garantiu que meu time conseguisse vencer com muita facilidade. Infelizmente para aqueles que estavam jogando na **Modern Ranked** ou que migraram para ela após o **banimento dos Bots** não será possível utilizar o **Exploding Dwarf** por ser uma carta Reward Beta, mas existem outras cartas que podem cumprir uma função semelhante, então irei recomendá-las para vocês.

A primeira vocês já viram nessa partida, eu estou falando do **Exploding Rats**! Apesar de possuir menos dano a sua velocidade compensa bastante. Outra diferença é a habilidade **Redemption** https://i.imgur.com/N58uxBT.png ganha no level 5 ao invés do **Retaliate** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_retaliate.png. De fato é uma  habilidade inferior mas que pode ser útil em partidas que haja apenas 1 de armadura *(Tyrus Paladium)* protegendo o time inimigo. Outra vantagem é que esta carta requer um **[investimento](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-investment "investimento")** bem pequeno e será fácil colocá-la em leveis mais altos.

Yesterday, I faced a battle in **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock "splinterlands")** with only 20 available mana. In this confrontation, I was able to form a very solid composition using cards with many benefits and low mana cost. Although the combo is straightforward, it is quite effective, and you will see it by watching the replay.

As the **Equalizer** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/9/95/Combat-rule_equalizer.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210209075101 rule was in effect, I chose the **Exploding Dwarf** for the first position because, besides dealing a lot of damage, it has the possibility of activating **Retaliate** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_retaliate.png when hit. Its health was equalized due to the rule, but to ensure my cards' survival, I opted for **Tower Griffin**, which has the **Protect** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_protect.png ability, providing armor to the entire team.

The round started with the **Exploding Rats** attacking, but its damage was mitigated by the armor. Next, the Dwarf attacked and killed its companion *"Exploding"*. The **Flame Monkey** used **Repair** https://i.imgur.com/qgoXFmp.png to restore the Dwarf's armor, and the **Battering Ram** eliminated the **Furious Chicken** before it could attack. With no alternatives, the **Serpentine Spy** made its attack against the Dwarf, who retaliated with **Retaliate** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_retaliate.png, causing another instant death and also reducing **Uraeus'** health.

The fact that the Dwarf had the same amount of attack as the equalized health in this match made it quite favorable, ensuring my team's easy victory. Unfortunately, for those playing in the **Modern Ranked** or who migrated to it after the **banishment of Bots**, using the **Exploding Dwarf** won't be possible as it is a Beta Reward card. However, there are other cards that can fulfill a similar role, so I will recommend them to you.

The first one you saw in this match, and I'm talking about the **Exploding Rats**! Despite having less damage, its speed compensates a lot. Another difference is the **Redemption** https://i.imgur.com/N58uxBT.png ability gained at level 5 instead of **Retaliate** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_retaliate.png. It is indeed an inferior ability, but it can be useful in matches where there is only 1 armor *(Tyrus Paladium)* protecting the enemy team. Another advantage is that this card requires a very small **[investment](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-investment "investment")**, and it will be easy to level it up.
