Nos últimos dias o mercado de **[criptomoedas](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency)** rompeu para baixo a lateralidade que durou muitas semanas e esse movimento pegou de surpresa muitos investidores que estavam fielmente acreditando em uma possível continuidade de alta após o **[Bitcoin](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-bitcoin)** romper os $ 32.000,00. Isso não aconteceu mas no atual momento fica fácil saber disso pois o fato já passou, porém eu me lembro dos meus pensamentos duas semanas atrás sobre quais ações eu tomaria, então no post de hoje eu irei compartilhar com vocês a minha **experiência de investimento no último mês** e como eu fui afetado pelo **[FOMO](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-fear-of-missing-out-fomo)**.

Desde o último trimestre de 2022 eu estava acumulando caixa em dólares para entrar nas melhores oportunidades do **[mercado](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-market)** mas como todo bom **[investidor](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-investor)** é claro que eu não investi durante a quebra da **FTX** e acabei perdendo o fundo do mercado *(até o momento)*. 2023 começou com a reversão de **[tendência](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-trend-finance)** do mercado e ao vê-lo subir eu comecei a ficar receoso pois apesar de já estar investido nas minhas principais apostas de cripto *([Hive](https://leofinance.io/@crypto-guides/what-is-hive-crypto-hive) e [Chainlink](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@underlock/crystal-ball-chainlink-price-2024))* ainda havia muitas outras criptomoedas que eu tinha interesse em **[holdar](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-hold)** para o longo prazo, mas eu sabia o que era **[FOMO](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-fear-of-missing-out-fomo)** e justamente por isso eu me segurei para não investir meu dinheiro acreditando que logo o mercado voltaria à tendência de baixa.

Infelizmente novamente eu estava errado. O mercado continuou assumindo uma postura de alta com longos períodos de lateralidade no meio do caminho e recentemente após muito esperar e ver as tentativas do Bitcoin em romper os $ 30.000,00 eu decidi que seria interessante fazer uma entrada parcial em alguma criptomoedas que iria manter para o longo prazo, como por exemplo a **[Polygon](https://leofinance.io/posts/@crypto-guides/what-is-polygon-matic-crypto)** e outras de risco mais elevado que não cabe mencionar nessa postagem. Após tomar essa decisão eu investi quase 40% do meu **[caixa](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-cash)** diversificando o **[capital](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-capital)** entre essa várias criptos até formar um **[portfólio](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-portfolio)** mais estruturado *(estruturado não quer dizer balanceado pois alguns dos meus investimentos são muito maiores em algumas coisas e não é BTC/ETH 🤣)*.

Durante a última semana o mercado tem assumido uma postura de queda mais forte e essas compras que eu fiz já se **desvalorizaram entre 10% à 25%** mas o meu pior erro ainda não foi mencionado. Eu considero as **quedas** algo bem positivo pois nos dá a oportunidade de comprar **[criptomoedas](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency)** ótimas por preços baratos, porém eu utilizei boa parte do meu capital restante para criar **[Pools de Liquidez](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-liquidity-pool-lp)** na **[Uniswap](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-the-uniswap-company)**.

Como uma pessoa bastante inocente eu pensei que o mercado já estava lateral por muito tempo e que iria continuar assim para sempre *(ironia)* então coloquei boa parte do caixa em algumas pools de liquidez de ativos que caso as coisas dessem errado eu iria ficar tranquilo em **[holdar](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-hold)** para o longo prazo, ainda bem que eu fiz isso porquê nesse exato momento eu estaria ficando louco se estivesse lotado de criptomoedas horríveis presas na minha pool.

Durante o período em que elas estavam trabalhando bem o rendimento foi bastante interessante, as duas pools de **$MATIC** conseguiram render em média 0,33% ao dia mas com essa queda abrupta o **[Range](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-range)** das pools saíram totalmente e agora estou amargando um **[Impermanente Loss](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-impermanent-loss)** em todas elas, porém **esse não é o maior problema de todos**, eu estou tranquilo em holdar essas criptos mesmo que elas estejam desvalorizando, porém boa parte do **dinheiro em caixa que eu possuía para investir na queda ficou comprometido com meus investimentos na hora errada e com as pools de liquidez**, ou seja, se este for o melhor momento para comprar novamente eu estarei sem capital para conseguir investir e melhorar o meu **[preço médio](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-average-cost)**.

Perceba que todas as minhas decisões foram baseadas em sentimento *(até porquê eu não sou um investidor profissional e apesar de estudar muito sempre há a possibilidade de estar errado)* e o **[custo de oportunidade](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-opportunity-cost)** que eu assumi ao fazer esses investimentos foi ficar com pouco capital para investir mais em possíveis quedas. Sabendo disso há algumas possibilidades:

Ok eu sei que essa terceira opção parece loucura mas é uma possibilidade já que possuo uma **[linha de crédito](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-credit-line)** com a **[taxa de juros](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-interest-rate)** relativamente baixa por ser funcionário do banco, eu usaria essa oportunidade para melhorar meu preço médio apostando em uma grande recuperação de mercado, lembrando que esse tipo de ação também é chamada de **[alavancagem](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-leverage)** e possui muitos riscos agregados então é extremamente importante ponderar bastante antes de tomar esse tipo de decisão. É exatamente por isso que eu só faria algo assim se os preços voltassem à patamares tão baixos quanto o fundo de 2022 mas sem nenhum cenário totalmente apocaliptico que pudesse destruir o mercado de cripto 😅.

In the last few days the **[cryptocurrency](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency)** market broke down the sideways that lasted for many weeks and this move took by surprise many investors who were faithfully believing in a possible bullish continuation after the **[Bitcoin](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-bitcoin)** broke through $32,000.00. That did not happen but at the current moment it is easy to know this as the fact has passed, however I remember my thoughts two weeks ago about what actions I would take, so in today's post I will share with you my **investing experience over the last month** and how I was affected by **[FOMO](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-fear-of-missing-out-fomo)**.

Since the last quarter of 2022 I was accumulating dollar cash to enter the best **[market](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-market)** opportunities but like every good **[investor](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-investor)** of course I didn't invest during the **FTX crash** and ended up missing the bottom of the market *(so far)*. 2023 started with the **[trend](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-trend-finance)** reversal of the market and seeing it go up I started to get wary because despite being already invested in my main crypto bets *([Hive](https://leofinance.io/@crypto-guides/what-is-hive-crypto-hive) and [Chainlink](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@underlock/crystal-ball-chainlink-price-2024))* there were still many other cryptocurrencies that I had interest in **[hold](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-hold)** for the long term, but I knew what **[FOMO](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-fear-of-missing-out-fomo)** was and precisely because of that I held back from investing my money believing that soon the market would return to the downtrend.

Unfortunately again I was wrong. The market continued to assume a bullish posture with long periods of sideways movement in the middle of the way and recently after a lot of waiting and seeing Bitcoin's attempts to break through $30,000.00 I decided it would be interesting to make a partial entry into some cryptocurrency that I would hold for the long term, such as the **[Polygon](https://leofinance.io/posts/@crypto-guides/what-is-polygon-matic-crypto)** and other higher risk cryptocurrencies that are not worth mentioning in this post. After making that decision I invested almost 40% of my **[cash](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-cash)** diversifying the **[capital](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-capital)** among this various cryptos until I formed a more structured **[portfolio](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-portfolio)** *(structured doesn't mean balanced as some of my investments are much larger in some things and it's not BTC/ETH 🤣)*.

Over the last week the market has taken a stronger downward stance and these purchases I have made have already **depreciated between 10% to 25%** but my worst mistake has yet to be mentioned. I consider the **falls** something quite positive as it gives us the opportunity to buy great **[cryptocurrencies](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency)** for cheap prices, however I used much of my remaining capital to create **[Liquidity Pools](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-liquidity-pool-lp)** at **[Uniswap](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-the-uniswap-company)**.

As a fairly innocent person I thought the market had been sideways for a long time and would stay that way forever *(irony)* so I put a good portion of the cash into some liquidity pools of assets that in case things went wrong I would be safe in **[hold](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-hold)** for the long term, good thing I did that because at this very moment I would be going crazy if I was packed with horrible cryptocurrencies stuck in my pool.

During the period when they were working well the yield was quite interesting, the two pools of **$MATIC** managed to yield on average 0.33% a day but with this abrupt fall the **[Range](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-range)** pools went out completely and now I am biting an **[Impermanent Loss](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-impermanent-loss)** in all of them, but **this is not the biggest problem of all**, I am at ease in holding these cryptos even if they are devaluing, but much of the **cash I had to invest in the fall was committed to my investments at the wrong time and with the liquidity pools**, i.e., if this is the best time to buy again I will be without capital to be able to invest and improve my **[average cost](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-average-cost)**.

Notice that all my decisions were based on feeling *(not least because I am not a professional investor and despite studying a lot there is always the possibility of being wrong)* and the **[opportunity cost](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-opportunity-cost)** that I assumed when making these investments was to be left with little capital to invest more in possible falls. Knowing this there are a few possibilities:

https://i.imgur.com/klVxFma.png **Hold cryptocurrencies and do nothing *(doing nothing is also an action)***.
https://i.imgur.com/klVxFma.png **Hold the cryptocurrencies and in an eventual absurdly high fall take a **[loan](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-loans)** at the bank and leverage my investments.**

Ok I know this third option sounds crazy but it is a possibility since I have a **[credit line](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-credit-line)** with **[interest rate](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-interest-rate)** relatively low because I am an bank employee, I would use this opportunity to improve my average price by betting on a big market recovery, remembering that this kind of action is also called **[leveraging](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-leverage)** and has many aggregate risks so it is extremely important to ponder a lot before making this kind of decision. This is exactly why I would only do something like this if prices return to as low as the bottom of 2022 but without any totally doomsday scenario that could destroy the crypto market 😅.

For now all I can do is wait and follow the market movements, create content on Hive and engage a lot in @Leofinance's **Threads** as my main goal this month is to get first place in **[Adoption Campaign](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@leogrowth/prepare-for-our-adoption-campaign-or-10k-usd-prize-pool)**.
