No post de hoje eu irei compartilhar algumas dicas sobre quais situações são ideais para esta habilidade e mostrar uma partida que exemplifica perfeitamente como utilizá-la.

Ela é uma habilidade boa, mas seu verdadeiro potencial é atingido quando utilizada em combinação com outras habilidades ou em determinadas condições. A melhor habilidade pra combinar com a **Cripple** é a **Double Strike** https://i.imgur.com/7FYTG4H.png pois ambos os ataques vão reduzir a vida máxima do oponente.

A melhor parte desta habilidade é que este efeito é ativado mesmo se você causar dano na **Armadura** https://i.imgur.com/kHbNkma.png ou no **Divine Shield** https://i.imgur.com/TtTW1gd.png, portanto é sempre bom utilizar cartas com esta habilidade em partidas em que há chances do oponente escolher cartas com estas proteções ou com as regras **Armored Up** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/6/63/Combat-rule_armored-up.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210209072022 e/ou **Holy Protection** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/2/24/Combat-rule_Holy-Protection.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210308205857 em jogo.

Ela também é muito efetiva contra todo tipo de cura pois a quantidade de vida recuperada depende da vida máxima da criatura e a cada ataque recebido a vida máxima dela diminuirá. É bom ressaltar que apesar disso a **Cripple** https://i.imgur.com/rPAjQ7H.png é um debuff que pode ser removido pela habilidade **Cleanse** https://imgur.com/bU5XReT.png, se tornando pouco efetiva contra combos de **Cura+Llama**. Agora vamos vê-la em funcionamento nesta partida Brawl que eu disputei hoje cedo.

Nesta batalha eu tentei montar um time com muitas cartas para conseguir aplicar o **Cripple** https://i.imgur.com/rPAjQ7H.png mais vezes e para fazer o oponente ter mais dificuldade em derrotar minhas cartas por causa da armadura distribuída pela invocadora **Kelya Frendul**. O oponente optou por cartas com maior custo sendo a **Isgald Vorst** um enorme perigo pois a cada abate ela fica cada vez mais forte com seu **Bloodlust** https://i.imgur.com/NkdHb8h.png.

Na primeira rodada minhas cartas atacaram o **Xenith Monk** e diminuíram sua vida máxima três vezes, fazendo com que ele conseguisse curar apenas 1 de vida na rodada seguinte e fosse abatido por esse motivo.

A **Isgald** usou seus ataques da primeira e segunda rodada para eliminar a **Ice Pixie** e ativar seu primeiro buff, ficando com estatísticas muito elevadas e bastante armadura. Este foi o momento em que a regra **Tis but Scratches** https://i.imgur.com/V7oaJ9W.png começou a fazer muita diferença pois nas rodadas seguintes os ataques que foram aparados pela **Armadura** https://i.imgur.com/kHbNkma.png foram reduzindo a vida máxima da **Isgald**. Ela começou a terceira rodada com 5 de vida e 5 de armadura e na rodada seguinte já havia sido bastante ferida após receber dois ataques.

O maior problema viria após ela abater o **Cruel Sethropod** pois seu **Bloodlust** https://i.imgur.com/NkdHb8h.png ativaria novamente aumentando todas as suas estatísticas, mas por todas as minhas cartas possuírem armadura por causa da **Kelya** o oponente precisaria de 2 rodadas para conseguir eliminar cada uma das minhas cartas. Enquanto ela perdia 2 turnos para eliminar uma carta as minhas duas unidades atacavam ela, quebrando a armadura e reduzindo a vida máxima em cada golpe.

Se a regra **Tis but Scratches** https://i.imgur.com/V7oaJ9W.png não estivesse presente a **Isgald Vorst** não seria eliminada pois minhas cartas mal conseguiriam quebrar sua armadura e após cada abate sua armadura se regeneraria. Felizmente minhas cartas fizeram um ótimo uso da habilidade **Cripple** https://i.imgur.com/rPAjQ7H.png e me possibilitaram vencer esta disputa!

In case you're not familiar, let me refresh your memory on what this ability does. The **Cripple** ability has the following effect:

https://i.imgur.com/klVxFma.png **Each time an enemy is hit by a Monster with Cripple it loses one max health.** *(decreasing maximum health reduces the effect of Heal and Tank Heal)*

It's a good ability but its true potential is reached when used in combination with other abilities or under certain conditions. The best ability to combine with **Cripple** is **Double Strike** https://i.imgur.com/7FYTG4H.png as both attacks will reduce the opponent's maximum health.

The best part of this ability is that this effect activates even if you deal damage to **Armor** https://i.imgur.com/kHbNkma.png or **Divine Shield** https://i.imgur.com/TtTW1gd.png, so it's always good to use cards with this ability in games where there is a chance that the opponent will choose cards with these protections or with the **Armored Up** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/6/63/Combat-rule_armored-up.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210209072022 and/or **Holy Protection** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/2/24/Combat-rule_Holy-Protection.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210308205857 rules in game.

It is also very effective against all types of healing because the amount of life recovered depends on the maximum life of the creature and with each attack received its maximum life will decrease. It is worth noting that despite this **Cripple** https://i.imgur.com/rPAjQ7H.png is a debuff that can be removed by the **Cleanse** https://imgur.com/bU5XReT.png ability, becoming ineffective against **Heal+Llama** combos. In this battle I tried to build a team with a lot of cards to be able to apply **Cripple** https://i.imgur.com/rPAjQ7H.png more times and to make the opponent have more difficulty defeating my cards because of the armor distributed by summoner **Kelya Frendul**. The opponent opted for cards with a higher cost, **Isgald Vorst** being a huge danger because with each kill she gets stronger with her **Bloodlust** https://i.imgur.com/NkdHb8h.png.

In the first round, my cards attacked **Xenith Monk** and reduced his maximum health three times, causing him to heal only 1 life in the next round and be killed for that reason.

**Isgald** used her first and second round attacks to eliminate **Ice Pixie** and activate her first buff, leaving her with very high stats and a lot of armor. This was the moment when the rule **Tis but Scratches** https://i.imgur.com/V7oaJ9W.png started to make a lot of difference because in the following rounds the attacks that were parried by **Armor** https://i.imgur.com/kHbNkma.png have been reducing the maximum health of **Isgald**. She started the third round with 5 health and 5 armor and in the next round she was already badly injured after receiving two attacks.

The biggest problem would come after she killed the **Cruel Sethropod** because her **Bloodlust** https://i.imgur.com/NkdHb8h.png would activate again increasing all her stats, but because all my cards have armor because of **Kelya** the opponent would need 2 rounds to eliminate each of my cards. While she lost 2 turns to eliminate a card my two units attacked her, breaking her armor and reducing her maximum health with each hit.

If the rule **Tis but Scratches** https://i.imgur.com/V7oaJ9W.png was not present **Isgald Vorst** would not be eliminated because my cards would barely be able to break its armor and after each kill its armor would regenerate. Luckily my cards made great use of the **Cripple** https://i.imgur.com/rPAjQ7H.png ability and enabled me to win this match!

Oh cripple, I stepped away from playing Splinterlands for a few months and recently came back. I feel like the Tis but Scratches rule set comes up on half my matches now. I do like seeing the rule though. I feel like cripple was really underrated before this change in rules.
