Eu já comentei em alguns posts anteriores sobre o quanto eu gosto de composições defensivas no **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock)**, principalmente aquelas focadas em causar dano **refletido** no oponente. Nem sempre é fácil aplicar essa estratégia pois você precisa acertar o tipo de ataque as cartas inimigas e possuir cartas resistentes o suficiente para sobreviver aos ataques enquanto causam dano refletido.

Na partida que compartilharei hoje com vocês o conjunto de regras foi bastante sugestivo e à partir disso eu decidi criar uma composição defensiva para fazer o oponente sofrer com seus próprios ataques, vamos acompanhar meu raciocínio.

Ao unirmos as regras  **Melee Mayhem** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/7/71/Combat-rule_melee-mayhem.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210209075102 e **Are You Not Entertained?** https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/underlock/AJiywJpNx1QgC9nV4vA58sCE4dwc5BwDxVcis3g34boWf1tQyvUbFQqGRSXJFt7.png temos o incentivo perfeito para que o jogador escolha o elemento **Terra** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/a/a4/Splinter-earth.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/15?cb=20210212224207 e utilize a **Quora Towershead** para compor seu time pois ela será capaz de causar seus dois ataques estando na backline, aumentando as chances de ativar **Bloodlust** https://i.imgur.com/NkdHb8h.png. Pensando nisso eu resolvi me antecipar e criei uma composição com dois tanks capazes de refletir dano e muito suporte para lidar com o time inimigo. Esse foi o resultado:

Aqui há a união de tudo: dois tanks capazes de receber dano reduzido e refletir dano com **Thorns** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_thorns.png e **Magic Reflect** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_magic-reflect.png e quatro cartas de suporte executando funções diferentes. O **Doctor Blight** tem o objetivo de aplicar **Affliction** https://i.imgur.com/tcXJ3IC.png e **Poison** https://i.imgur.com/1T3vRux.png contra o maior número de oponentes possíveis além de servir como uma frontline de vida com seu **Scavenger** https://i.imgur.com/p2OuPAn.png. A **Queen Mycalia** é quem vai potencializar o dano principal da minha composição com seu **Amplify** https://i.imgur.com/61YdoSH.png além de aumentar a sobrevivência do time inteiro com sua armadura e capacidade de cura. Também focado em afetar negativamente o time inimigo temos o **Mushroom Seer** que conseguiu reduzir o dano de 5 cartas inimigas com a habilidade **Silence** https://i.imgur.com/kxkTXqq.png e ainda pode aplicar **Poison** https://i.imgur.com/1T3vRux.png neles. Por fim temos a **Spirit of the Forest** que serve como uma proteção incrível contra eventuais cartas com **Sneak** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_sneak.png e é fundamental para aumentar a sobrevivência dos meus tanks utilizando a habilidade **Tank Heal** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_tank-heal.png.

Com todos esses recursos somados o oponente se viu extremamente limitado. A maioria das suas cartas tiveram o dano reduzido e ao atacarem acabam se inflingindo dano. Além disso as 3 cartas com cura poderiam ser facilmente inutilizadas com o **Affliction** https://i.imgur.com/tcXJ3IC.png do **Doctor Blight**. Essa partida foi extremamente controlada e a **Quora Towershead** não tinha dano suficiente para fazer nada!

Pouco a pouco todas as cartas do oponente foram sendo eliminadas ao terem seu próprio dano refletido, vencer assim é muito satisfatório e vale muito a pena. A decisão de me antecipar à uma **Quora Towershead** foi bastante acertiva e por isso eu consegui vencer tão fácil, porém se o oponente não tivesse seguido com essa estratégia e optasse por uma composição de arqueiros para fazer uso da regra **Close Range** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/8/88/Combat-rule_close-range.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210209075101 então o resultado poderia ter sido completamente diferente.

Foram revelados os planos para o **[evento de 5 anos](https://peakd.com/splinterlands/@splinterlands/splinterlands-5-year-anniversary-event)** do **Splinterlands** e para a minha decepção não há nada planejado que envolva **[queimar](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-burning)** cartas. O evento se trata de um grande sorteio para todos aqueles que quiserem participar e estiverem dispostos à queimar **DEC** https://i.imgur.com/48pYioJ.png para isso. Já faz meses que muitas das decisões da equipe estão direcionadas ao DEC para tentar restaurá-lo ao **[PEG](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-peg)** de **1000 DEC por 1$**. Pouco a pouco essas decisões tem dado resultado e na última semana ele se valorizou 3,68%, quase atingindo 80% do seu valor desejado.

Indo na direção oposta está o **SPS** https://i.imgur.com/8HpOi2W.png. Com o anúncio das grandes mudanças que ocorrerão até o final do segundo trimestre, o desfecho forçado dessa decisão acabou atraindo bastante negatividade para os jogadores e o preço do SPS continuava em queda até ontem, hoje houve uma pequena recuperação de 1,49% para acalmar os **[investidores](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-investor)** que estão com medo desse ativo que está em tendência de queda infinita desde seu topo histórico em 2021.

I have commented in some previous posts about how much I like defensive compositions in **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock)**, especially those focused on causing **reflected** damage to opponent. It is not always easy to apply this strategy because you need to get the enemy attack type right and have enough resistant cards to survive the attacks while causing reflected damage.

In the game that I will share with you today the ruleset was very suggestive and from that I decided to create a defensive composition to make the opponent suffer with his own attacks, let's follow my reasoning.

Thinking about this I decided to anticipate and created a composition with two tanks capable of reflecting damage and a lot of support to deal with the enemy team. This was the result:

Also focused on negatively affecting the enemy team we have the **Mushroom Seer** who has managed to reduce the damage of 5 enemy cards with the **Silence** https://i.imgur.com/kxkTXqq.png ability and can even apply **Poison** https://i.imgur.com/1T3vRux.png on them. Finally we have **Spirit of the Forest** which serves as an incredible protection against eventual cards with **Sneak** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_sneak.png and is instrumental in increasing the survival of my tanks using **Tank Heal** https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_tank-heal.png.

With all these resources added up the opponent found himself extremely limited. Most of their cards had their damage reduced and when they attack they end up inflicting damage on themselves. In addition the 3 cards with healing could easily be rendered useless with the **Affliction** https://i.imgur.com/tcXJ3IC.png of **Doctor Blight**. This match was extremely controlled and the **Quora Towershead** didn't have enough damage to do anything!

Little by little all the opponent's cards were eliminated by having their own damage reflected, winning like this is very satisfying and very worthwhile. The decision to anticipate a **Quora Towershead** was quite right and that is why I managed to win so easily, however if the opponent had not followed with this strategy and opted for a composition of archers to make use of the **Close Range** https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/splinterlands/images/8/88/Combat-rule_close-range.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/25?cb=20210209075101 rule then the result could have been completely different.

Plans have been revealed for the **[5 Year Anniversary Event](https://peakd.com/splinterlands/@splinterlands/splinterlands-5-year-anniversary-event)** of **Splinterlands** and to my disappointment there is nothing planned that involves **[burning](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-burning)** cards. The event is about a big draw for all those who want to participate and are willing to burn **DEC** https://i.imgur.com/48pYioJ.png for it. For months now, many of the team's decisions have been directed at DEC to try to restore it to **[PEG](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-peg)** of **1000 DEC for $1**. Little by little these decisions have paid off and in the last week it has appreciated 3.68%, almost reaching 80% of its desired value.
